This is my first post here as well so please don't flame me!!!! The idea of moving the headquarters of everything except Disneyland makes perfect sense. California is bankrupt with a confiscatory tax system while Florida is much more sound financially. Also, since Disney partially "owns their own government" in the Reedy Creek Improvement district, it would again make perfect sense for everything to be there; headquarters, the studios, Imagineering, EVERYTHING. I just wonder why it hasn't happened already.

I enjoy reading the posts on this board and look forward to being a contributing member. For the record, I do not have any insider sources and only know 2 cast members at WDW, 1 lifeguard and 1 guitar player :ROFLOL:

Since Disney is primarily a movie studio, moving to Florida makes no sense at all since all the support industries are in California. Disney tried to have a viable working studio is Florida once already and saw that it would never work.

I love how people become ' bags' for speaking the truth.

Most of what he posted was completely unfounded and untrue. The few things that were at least somewhat factual were already known.

What is wrong with telling someone he's wrong?
Just because its a 'rumor' subforum doesn't mean that you have to treat every baseless rumor like it is handed down from Mount Olympus. Especially if its a new poster. In reality, there should be a minimum post count before you can start a thread on this subforum. It would cut down on a lot of this. I can't think of a single instance where a new poster has actually supplied correct or new information.
