Interesting forum feature

yah tigsmom...i had this same thought...
but when you type things like "(holding shift)" and "(caps lock)" you negate the whole concept.
the entire post needs to be typed in capital letters for the um...feature...to work.

thats how I've come to understand it now. will test theory in next post.

PREVENT SHOUTING (ALL CAPS) IN SUBJECT FIELD

In vbulletin options, there is a nice, "Stop 'Shouting' in titles" option. If you turn it on, the script will monitor ALL-CAPS message subjects and if it catches any, it be will converted to only first letters capitalized.

So this subject:

"VERY IMPORTANT READ THIS MESSAGE AND HELP ME"

will be converted to

"Very Important Read This Message And Help Me"
