Interactive Dining?

Other than character dining, what is available for interactive dining at Disney World? I'm thinking along the lines of the 50's diner that has the theater inside. I am aware of the Ohana show and the comedy/vaudville show (forgot the name of it) but I was wondering if there is anything else available for interactive style dining. Thanks!

Off the top of my head, the following non-character meal restaurants have *some* kind of extra interaction/theming/show beyond just sitting there and eating your meal, though in some cases it's dependent on how much the CMs get into the show.

-Cosmic Ray's (Sonny Eclipse, sometimes high school bands/choirs)
-Biergarten (German band)
-Restaurant Marakesh (belly dancing)
-Le Chefs de France (Remy AA during certain hours)
-Teppan Edo (the chefs give quite the performance)
-Coral Reef (if fish and SCUBA divers can be considered entertainment)
-Prime Time Cafe (servers as Mom, Brother or Sister)
-Sci-Fi Dine In (indoor drive-in movie)
-Raglan Road (live Irish music and occasional step-dancer many evenings)
-House of Blues (Gospel brunch, sometimes live music)
-Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex Cafe (animatronic animals/dinos)
-Whispering Canyon Cafe ("pony" races for the kids, boisterous servers)
-'Ohana (singer in the evening with coconut races and hula hoops for the kids)
-ESPN Club (sports stuff)
-The dinner shows (Luau and Hoop-Dee-Doo)

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Rumor has it if you want to "enhance" your experience -- try one or more of the following. IMPORTANT -- these are just suggestions! Depending on how busy the cafe is, servers may not be able to engage in tomfoolery!

PLEASE Note: It has been brought to our attention that someone reprinted this list and then got very upset with their server when all of the items mentioned below were not part of their dining experience. PLEASE don't expect your server to do this entire list or even anything from the list! It is merely a recap of what has produced some interesting antics from previous guest experiences. Whispering Canyon is a themed restaurant and chances are your server may engage in some tomfoolery. But please use this only as a guide for possibly having fun and not a list of expectations! Thank you!

Wear a Hat or T-Shirt from Universal or Sea World
Tell your server you spent the day at an attraction outside of WDW
Tell the server whose birthday or anniversary it is
Have your kids "egg him/her on"
Have one of the males in the group ask where the restrooms are
Claim your straw is not long enough
Chew gum
Ask the server where you can buy some chewing gum in WDW
Ask for ketchup -- but be ready for a little exercise and team building!
Order a soda for breakfast.

How can you tell if the belly dancer will be at Restaurant Marakesh? I'd love to go there if I knew she'd be dancing.

According to Steve Soares' entertainment schedule site:

Steve Soares' WDW Entertainment said:
Traditional Moroccan music and dance inside Restaurant Marrakesh.
Daily at 12:50, 1:50, 2:50, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 & 8:10pm
Belly Dancer begins 10 minutes after show begins.
Length of show: 25 minutes

The schedule is updated weekly, but I don't know if this is something that necessarily changes schedule very often. You can keep an eye on it here:

Thank you so much! I definately will make reservations and keep an eye on the link.

Whispering Canyon does seem nice as well. We may have to eat there too. :)
