Could be the Marathon lighting in the Wonder Section, could be Test Track rehab related, or even the removal of Christmas decorations from World Showcase.

From the looks of it..

The location places it near/around the Land - you can see the spire of the building in the other photos right near it.

It wouldn't be from Wonders parking or Test Track, as those would be seen on the other side of SSE from that angle.

My vote is for Living Seas - which would require extensive work at night from the rear of the building, thus pointing the lights toward the Swan/Dolphin area.

Also, rumors have it that LS would not begin extensive work until the new year, thus now-ish.

OK.
No more speculation.

It's from the marathon. My wife ran the marathon on Sunday. We all had to be at the Wonder parking lot between 3 am and 5 am, before they made their way to the stating line.
I was walking towards the spectator area to watch the start of the marathon. As I walked thought the lot, I saw the light, that you can see in the picture.
The portable power generator was a full semi sized generator. The lights were on a crane that pout them about 3-5 stories in the air (Maybe more, up to 15'). There were 12 or so lights on the end of the crane that lit that parking lot up like daylight (they looked like stadium lights.)
Since I am an engineer, I stood and looked at the setup and tried to figure out how much light and power that thing generated.......There was a lot of light.

Just thought I would give my input.

EDIT: The lights were pointed towards SSE from the east side (I think) in the wonder parking lot.
EDIT2: Here is a link to the kind of lighting I saw:

Just to follow up the "light" was not on last night and I agree that it was the marathon.

Also there was talk in this thread about the lights of the EPCOT on wand as to when the are on/off.
Last night they went on at dust and stayed on till exaclty 5AM and then went off.

But then came back on at 6:25AM, just in time for guests to wake up.

And then stayed on till the sun came and and it was pretty light, and went out at 7:00AM.

I dont get why they leave them on almost all night to turn them off for 1hour & 25Min, just to turn them on again for 25Min.
Why not just leave them on from dust till 7Am!

And to add just a little bit more info.
Saturday morning the 1/2 marathon started in the same area. This would mean that the same lights would have been on Saturday am also. Disney requires all race participants to be in the EPCOT parking lot 2 hours (4am) before the beginning of the race.

Anyway, just my $.02
