Inside Out at Epcot

I know the prevailing logic is gravitating towards Wonders of Life/Cranium Command, because it is essentially cranium command... but I'd be a little disappointed if they just turned it into a simulator ride. I'd much prefer a full dark ride.

Why? Epcot literally has a place called "the imagination pavilion."

Well, for one thing we could imagine putting a potential Inside Out attraction over at the studios where it is more thematically appropriate and reserving Journey into Imagination for, well, a proper Journey into Imagination attraction. Ideally, at least, if not very likely.

Since the big open space in the Wonders of Life pavilion is so well suited to event use I doubt they are going to be willing to give that up easily.

And it's not like they are incapable of building new venues. EPCOT isn't short space by any means.

Just look at the new theater they are putting in at Hollywood Studios just for events. So, not unthinkable that they would/could build something at EPCOT to offload that function from WoL.

Precisely. Venues meant as attraction space open to the public should be restored as such. If you want special event venues in Epcot, then build a proper, purpose-built event space.

If it was in Cranium Command it would be an Audio Animatronic show (hopefully at least). After seeing the movie that's actually what I would prefer, seeing the emotions just interacting with each other and going through a normal day. I want to go to Headquarters.

Um, @wdwmagic, @The Mom, why was this moved to the Animation, Movies, TV section when we actually have an interview that shows Pixar wants to put Inside Out in Epcot? I'd say that definitely qualifies as news.
Reading the article, it appears their idea for some sort of theme park integration was part of their pitch for the movie. I would imagine that's why the thread was moved....

Ah, well serves me right for not having seen the movie yet! I think I've also confused attractions, was Body Wars the Star-Tours like simulator?

If this turns into an attraction, my thought is it would be a FW pavilion. Don't read into that too much. Yet.

Just saw the film and it's absolutely tremendous. So happy with it. I was thinking how this could fit in to Epcot and I could see it working in the Magic Eye and probably an amazing candidate to revive ImageWorks. An interactive playground themed to Inside Out? So cool. I honestly don't see it replacing Figment though.
