I just came across something about a Disney Inline Skating marathon... does this event still take place?? I am guessing not since I can't find any info on it, but thought I would check.

Yeah, it only happened for (I think) five years, and then was cancelled because it wasn't drawing enough competitors. I skated in it twice, and both times were a blast. Skating through the World Showcase was awesome. Great memories, I'm glad I had the opportunity to do it.
too bad they ended it... very cool you got to do it twice.
