Considering spending Halloween week down there. What are the hours, ticket prices, and rides open for Mickey's NSSHP? Also anyone know if Univ./Islands (sorry) is doing a Halloween thing?

I went down in 02 and had a great time. If you get the party tickets the park is open til midnight. Also the wine and food festival is at epcot. My friend did universal last year and they have a thing that is a bit scary and is more oriented for older kids and adults. I am going down oct 10 this year. Can't wait

Went to MNSSHP last year and it was a ton of fun. The trick or treating was great, the free pics were a riot, the special pins were right up my alley and the parade is not to be missed. Oh yeah, the rides were there too and the lines were short.

Went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal many moons ago and it's scary. Not a little scary, frightening. Nothing I will ever do again. Then again you won't catch me in Universal ever again though either.

both MNSSHP and HHN are great events... with their very seperate audiences. Check them both out and make up your own mind.

I'll be attending both this year... just like last year, and before. Maybe even Busch Gardens as well this year.

Heading for the great escape.
I went to both in 02. Thought MNSSHP was a lot of fun and it wasnt too busy, even on Halloween itself. Most of the kids were more bothered about sweets than the attractions.

IOA however was much more adult orientated. It was excellent in parts and down right annoying in others. hokey masked chainsaw weilding CMs become a bit tiresome after a while. The Bill N Ted show was one of thefunniest things ive seen in ages, despite the usual disney jibes.
