My favorite Disney resort is Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's such a marvelous tower and so mesmerizing to look at with it's delightfully unique A like shape. Not only that, but it's within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom. You can literally see Cinderellas castle from there!
It's so cool they have it as a monorail toy accessory ...which goes under our tree (which I still need to set up:hungover::p)

I've only stayed at the All-Star resorts on the WDW property, so really, I have no way of picking a favorite over there. Even on my most recent trip, I stayed with a friend in his apartment down the road... One day I'd like to stay a the Polynesian or even the Contemporary Resort. If I'm going to stay onsite, I'm going to stay in a hotel with history.

Lol, if I had to pick one on my side of the country, it would be the Disneyland Hotel, hands down. While the hotel is simple enough in its execution, it's 60-years old, full of little details that make the trip worthwhile, and jam-packed with goodies. My favorite aspect of the hotel would be the inclusion of Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar, the E-Ticket Pool, the curious cabinet filled with RARE memorabilia, and the oversized map of Disneyland as Walt had envisioned it prior to his passing in 1966.
I think being at WDW to begin with gave me much more appreciation and nostalgia for Disneyland when we first went in 2012...everything about it was so quaint. While the Tiki Bar wasn't up yet, we walked around and I seeing the really neat monorail pool, and the fact that it's so centrally located. Only a few resorts at WDW are so close to the action.

Never saw the curious cabinet -- so there's an excuse among many to go back!:D

@Siren

They are making a movie about you and your fellow Sirens:p

So that's what she's named after. I thought her name was a reference to the Sirens of Greek and Roman mythology (Sirens in the Greek versions were described as being similar in appearance to that of a harpy; but much more beautiful and having hypnotic singing voices; and the Roman versions were described as being more like merpeople; also with hypnotic singing voices) and her icon was an indicator that she is a fan of either Suicide Squad or Harley Quinn.

Yes! Siren is from the Greek Σειρήν (pronounced see reen) Greek is a tough language to learn...I took a few semesters of it in college...p is r. n is i. :hungover::confused: But I remembered it from mythology.

Though in the DC comics...it's Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy I think? The 3 main female Batman villains. I've never read it before, but I've heard of it. I wonder how that film will do. :bookworm:

Tbh SeaWorld is boring anyway. Omg fish, much wow, so amazing! Funny how a park like Animal Kingdom shares the same concept as SeaWorld, what with it being "come look at animals sleeping and ride like our 3 exciting rides". But yet it's Animal Kingdom that is better. It manages to have much better themeing and actually immerse you into the vast kingdom of animals. What does SeaWorld have? You stare at a dolphin through a glass window, and then ride the 4 rides that are in the park.
The Manta ride made me sick lol

The forward flip got to me.

Also, go to any SeaWorld, and they will have more parking space than actual park space. No wonder why they're so boring; it's not SeaWorld, it's Oversized-Parking-Lot-And-A-Tiny-Portion-Of-SeaWorld.
