I honestly can't play it for more than 5 minutes before it crashes. According to their tech support I need a dedicated graphics card or something because the game can't be held on the computer.
Really unfortunate -- I'm holding onto it until they work the kinks out or I simply have to buy the graphics card, but for right now I'm gonna wait and see.

That stinks. Partly why I held out exploring getting it as I knew we'd need a drastic upgrade of the laptop we have.

That's not good. Otherwise how is it?

I just posted this over in the 66 thread but if you're interested in doing a build type game -- Cities:Skylines is very cool and easy to pick up. It was $9.99 too which was a good deal.

Just today I was doing this. It's fun!

Cool....for that price I may check it out. Maybe a useful tool for a future imagineering project.
I've gotten hooked on disney infinity now after buying up a ton of stuff for my almost 5 yr old and imagine legoworlds will be in our future as well when it comes out.

If you have a chance i think its worth it...and no crashes every 5 mins which is good so far.

I might use it to build Epcot city for WDW 66

It's funny, I bought it on a whim on Christmas day without really knowing the graphics limitations and my copy seems to work just fine. I have some issues with the controls, specifically the camera, but I think a lot of it is just adjusting my brain to something that isn't RCT3. I'll say this much, I hope you get a chance to play it because the customization is amazing. The best way I can describe it is the Photoshop to RCT3's Microsoft Paint. By far the thing I've been playing around the most with is the "Wooden Hybrid" design which is a pitch perfect RMC creation tool. Right now I'm mostly designing coasters in that style to get a feel for the controls and also because designing RMC coasters was one of the big selling points in me getting the game to begin with. Hopefully the graphics issues get fixed over time because it's an incredible package when it's playable.

I hope so -- but I just tried it again and still no bueno. Oh well, I'll see if in the next few weeks something changes or I upgrade the computer graphics card.

But that sounds awesome! I hope to play it eventually.

Btw while I have you here:p - would you be interested in being a coach with @MANEATINGWREATH for one of the teams in The Creator Games? Or maybe do some review podcasts with @Sam4D23

Sam is back now and I was telling him before that you and Sam are a really great duo for podcasts - and that would be a nice way to bring everyone together and bring the video content back to the forum!:)

I'd be absolutely STOKED to do podcasts with Sam again, but I'll have to politely decline your offer to be a coach. Way too much going on with the channel plus working three days a week at the museum. You're right, Sam and I have a really good on-air chemistry! I'd also like to revive the idea we had a while back of doing a weekly or bi-weekly recap on things happening in the community. :)

I was considering waiting until planet coaster comes out for Mac, but do you think it would be worth it to get rct3 now? Like if you have any big comparison between the two.
(Plus I have amazon gift cards I'm trying to figure out what to do with :p)

Well for one thing, Planet Coaster's graphics are 12 years better than RCT3 which is from 2004:p And it also has much more customization options than RCT3

Planet Coaster

If you want to try RCT3 out -- I think that would be fun! It's a great game, even if there is an upgraded game out there so to speak. :bookworm:
