im not into dudes but damn he is looking good for his age.
My faith is renewed. He looks better now that 6 Days 7 Nights (you know the last film of his that was worth anything, or was that Air Force One, anyways before he decided to buzz out all the time).

I was really worried about Indy w/a cane. Geezer Indy wasn't doing anything for me -- Geeking out now though.

I am so looking forward to this movie, but I hope Lucas doesn't blow it. At least Spielberg is directing.
Shia can seem to do no wrong with his career. Shaker Heights on up have been great stepping stones for him. Constantine/I, Robot/CA Fully Loaded, he established himself to the mainstream -- and now the leading role in Transformes looks to be Blockbuster gold following Greatest Game/Disturbia. He has a very calculated career going -- and this is the next step to making him a true star. He's already being called the next Tom Hanks -- he's just doing it 15 years younger. Smart, Smart kid.

... All but one of those movies were awful. Ok, two, Transformers won't be ... but besides 'Greatest Game Ever Played' the rest of those movies are downright bad.

I'm also confused on how a picture of Harrison sitting down gives you renewed faith in Indy 4.

He definitely has been in some successful films (and I won't say any of them are terrible, because admittedly, I've seen none of those films), but aren't these all just hollow summer blockbusters? I heard nothing but bad things about Constantine; I, Robot; CA Fully Loaded. Transformers will no doubt be box office gold, but it's another Michael Bay movie (ugh). I guess I expect something more from the Indiana Jones films than those aforementioned ones. Spielberg is no longer a lock for a good film, and Lucas hasn't been one for some years now. I hope this film will be great, (great, not a box office success--that it will be regardless) but I don't think any of the names attached guarantee that it will be.

I never said the movies were good, just the exposure. He was the shining light in most. Except Fully Loaded, he was a tool in that.

I, Robot was great. I was looking forward to hating I, Robot, but it's actully one of my favorite films of all time.

And don't give Transformers that much credit. It's a Bay film. Transformers will be ruined for me after this thing comes out.

I mean, it is a "Bay" film afterall. That's like saying the sky is blue??? I have heard that the script is kinda a little all over the place and that you can get lost in it, but that's the most negative thing I've read, which includes about 15 reviews at this point.

Maybe you shouldn't discount a Bay film w/o seeing it.

As far as transformers goes i have my doubts, i will have to see how closely the story goes with the origional. From what i have seen of the actual transformers they appear a little "junky" i dunno i guess im just espceting the worst, i shouldn't do that.

So I've seen one of the first sets for the film--they have transformed downtown New Haven to look right out of the 1950s, and it's very cool and authentic! There was a city-wide Indiana Jones festival last night haha
