Indy Ending

A few years ago, I don't remember exactly when it was, but I saw thw show, and they did it without the plane! Has this happened to anyone else before?? I'm trying to remember what they did instead of the plane... but I dont remember.

This was the 1st trip in 5 years where I was able to see the whole Indy show. Mainly because all my other trips were in the summer and the t-storms caused the show to be delayed.

I must respond to the Indy question. When Indy first opened they had the plane chopping the German up and pieces flying but he, in reality, fell into a trap door. The good people of Orlando raised such a stink that WDW immediately modified the show to what it is today.

Sorry, but I think you're way off. I've watched that show 5 times after it first opened, in different years, and it has always been the same thing.

Yeah, that's just wrong. I've seen the show a number of times in the past few months and have seen both endings used.

I've always seen the guy get chopped (apparently) until our last visit in July.
That time, the show ended before anything with the plane!
It had been absolutely pouring rain most of the afternoon and this was the 6 p-m show and I think they skipped because of weather/slick or whatever concerns.
