I guess the dance troops are different than the cheer groups? We were at DHS on 2/2 or 2/3/13 and the Indy stunt show was closed for they were having dance competitions there.
Egad- thanks for the heads up about the invasion of cheerio-zillas!
They are just as bad or worse- we experienced them last April. Never before have I endured an entire bus load of unsupervised brats scream-cheering during the whole ride. Hope they screwed up their voices & did lousy on the cheers when they performed. Was there last year with the cheerleaders all over WDW.....I still think that they were worse behaved than the Brazilian tour groups.
When I was single I loved being there when the college cheerleaders were in town!!!
I've told you a gazillion times, NEVER EXAGGERATE!There are a billion people in DHS today. Amazing amount of people here today.
Simple answer: Parents and family have to pay to enter DHS to watch. It's a way to increase attendance.
Long answer: Well...actually, just see above.
As a parent of an AAU basketball player, we paid plenty to get into WWoS to watch the games, so the pay argument fails. I think the lack of enough spaces and the inflation of park attendance numbers (for DHS over WWoS, at least) have some possibility. Otherwise, admission money is the same.
Maybe more shopping/eating is done at DHS than at WWoS, particularly given the limited offerings at WWoS, so overall more money is made..
As a teen... anyone have pictures? Of the crowds of course...
Do you pay $90 to get into WWoS? It's also a selling hook and people spend more money in parks.
