RnRC easily for its well done queue, multiple ride soundtracks and that awesome launch into a roll. Dated? Don’t matter. It’s a product of a time when Imagineers were willing to try something different and not just slap movie characters onto a ride and call it a day.

The Incredicoaster is basically Screamin with some different paint and some cheap Disney Store figures to distract you. A shame because the actual coaster layout is quite good but is ruined by the half-assed retheme. The less said about the soundtrack the better.

One other thing... the launch on Incredicoaster has been destroyed. Originally, it was a rock jetty that had a wave machine crashing water onto it constantly. You stood a good chance of getting splashed before your train launched.

Then the Safety Police took over and decided the safety rails had to be put in the up position constantly. Then the wave machine broke and the Walt Disney Company was so destitute that in order to meet weekly payroll they couldn't afford to fix the wave machine.

Now it's just this ugly steel walkway next to a stagnant lagoon. With brown water.

I remember the "you may get wet" signage when entering the ride. Good times.

Rock n' Roller Coaster, easily.

As much as Incredicoaster is a downgrade from Screamin', if I'm being honest even Screamin' never did anything for me as either a roller coaster or a Disney attraction. I appreciate the ride length and the smoothness, but otherwise? It's always been empty calories for me. Maybe because even in better days I thought that the fake wooden coaster looked overly stylized and ridiculous, and/or I'm used to riding actual wooden coasters and got weirdly pedantic about this fake one? And the ride wasn't ridiculous in a fun way like the nonsensical RNRC storyline.

Not to mention that RNRC is right next to one of the best ride Disney's ever built. That also helps a lot. As opposed to Incredicoaster, which is next to...easily visible Anaheim and...a carousel...cookies...meh.

So yeah, RNRC. No contest.

~A brief moment of silence for the superior RNRC in Paris that once existed, even if the actual theme and quality of decor was far chintzier and more suspect than what exists in Florida~

What did you find better about the one in Paris? In my opinion it was worse in just about every way.
Oh it had plenty of questionable elements, including the straight-from-Paramount-Parks exterior queue, strangely different preshow, even cheaper station, etc. It was a downgrade on all levels. HOWEVER:
1. The preshow was shorter and weirder, a true so-bad-it's-good example of straight up nonsense.
2. No cheesy signs and "Hollywood Landmarks," but instead a fun light show sort of environment based around some wacky "ride the music video" conceit. Dumb? Sure. But honestly an approach I preferred.
3. Most crucially: Paris had FP, DHS had FP+. The superior and easier to use FP system combined with lower overall crowds made it really, really easy to ride it over and over again since nothing else at the park was good enough to hold me and my friend's interest. That was really what clinched it. WDW specifically and modern Disney generally seem weirdly insistent on ensuring that if you want to ride attractions multiple times it requires an unnecessary amount of effort and time. Even in 2014 that was apparent to me in Florida. But flaws in rides for me are easier to forgive if you can ride them over and over again!
