So, I was just posting and reading over at http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/cars-land-star-wars-land-monstropolis.884442/, and came across the thought of an Incredibles ride in Pixar Place, thought more and more of it, and realized it makes sence, and especially if Disney plans on a DHS revamp soon like we hear. Anyways, the first "it makes sence" is because of this rumor/confirmation that many of you heard: http://screenrant.com/incredibles-2-cars-3-details/, that The Incredibles 2 is happening and could open along the same time as each other.

Any thoughts?

In fact, it was part of the whole disputed Disney vs. Universal custody battle over Harry Potter--
Both companies wanted to exclusively license the patent on a new pivoting hydraulic system, but Disney wanted to use it for an Incredibles sim ride, and Universal announced plans to use it for a Harry Potter Ron's-car ride. Neither company got what they wanted, but Universal got Harry and the hydraulics, but ended up using the technology just for those dancing Fast & Furious cars on the Hollywood Tour. (Which will now likely be retired.)

Huh? Doesn't Forbidden Journey use that exact same technology?

I personally would love to see it happen, though I'm sure TDO/WDI has other ideas and priorities.
Beside, it would be setting them up for major fail if the ride doesn't match up to the name. Can't be just a good, not quite incredible Incredible's ride.

An Incredibles ride would be a great addition to Pixar Place. Sadly, it probably won't ever happen.

Pretty much adding anything would be great for Pixar Place. One ride still. Really? There would be a certain logic in building an Incredibles attractions for DHS with a sequel on the horizon. But who knows what TDO and Burbank are thinking about WRT DHS -- a Star Wars expansion seems likely at some point in the near future, but it's not clear if they are still thinking about doing anything with Pixar Place and the LMA/Backlot Tour corner of the park.

There was an Incredibles ride that Tony Baxter pitched in the mid 00s that would have used the robot arm technology (like Harry Potter). It was being considered for Disney California Adventure and Magic Kingdom but Disney opted to green light Cars Land instead and then Universal got exclusive rights to use the robot arm technology.

One of the accountants who made the decision not to green light it actually wrote an article about it here:

All they have to do is create an attraction in which all the small children on the ride periodically burst into flames a la Jack-Jack. :)

With Incredibles 2 coming out soon that would be perfect for HS but long overdue and timing may be too late.
Star Wars land in HS is more likely IMHO.
