It’s really good! I liked it every bit as much as the first one, but for different reasons. The magic of these movies from Pixar is that they work on so many levels. It’s very funny in parts, but never in a way that distracts from the story. Jack Jack is a scream, but not overused. When Edna made her brief but perfect appearance my audience cheered. The audience applauded at the end. And the packed theater was filled with multiple generations from grandpas to 6 year olds. Great film and one of the best this year so far.

I loved the call out to The Outer Limits...one of the scariest shows I saw as a kid...and Jonny Quest!

Went to see it in the double feature Wednesday night. The original looked great in IMAX. This was a fun movie. I laughed out loud and hard at the Jack- Jack scene with the Trash Panda. DW and DD liked this one better than the first. I liked first one better, but this was definitely two thumbs up.
Took the kids to see it this afternoon and we all loved it! As we exited the theatre my daughter asked: "When can we buy it for at home?" She's never asked me that before. I don't know which was better maybe they seem pretty well-matched story quality-wise.

Looking like this will pass Finding Dory’s record to be the best weekend opening for animated feature
$180 million! Even when adjusted for inflation it's still the #1 animated opening of all time! 5th largest superhero opening.

I know a lot of people were worried about showing Mr. Incredible as an inept Father but he's a great dad! He only has problems when Jack-Jack starts displaying all his powers and there is no way Helen could have handled it better. As for Helen going back to work. That is explained in the movie as well and think I it's valid reasoning.

And 8th largest domestic opening of all time, passing Civil War and 2017’s Beauty and the Beast.
The summer should be good to it, there’s not a lot of competition in the animation department.

For those who haven’t watched it yet, Disney recently released an epilepsy warning for the film.
That one scene was crazy. I was surprised they didn't have a warning already.

I think they did issue a warning prior to the movie. At least I know I saw a sign at my theater out when the double feature was playing on June 13th and it was still out Friday morning when I went to see it.
(Lots of movies come with warnings, very few theaters post them unfortunately.)
