In your opinion who has the best crowd calendar

It’s been at least 10 years since I’ve planned. Who has the best crowd calendar?
Touring Plans uses a lot of data and variables into the estimates and is solid, though you can do your own by noting parks with EMH and finding out if there are any special events (run Disney) and obviously holidays when the kiddos are out of school.

Just keep in mind that light crowds 10 years ago does not mean the same thing as light crowds today. Sure, there may be the same number of people in the park. But with MyMagic+, don’t expect the low crowd days to mean you can just walk onto attractions anymore.

I look at them all and see which ones agree then make a decision. Like most have posted light crowds of the past are just that of the past

I've sort of done this too, though many times none really agree at all. I know many love Touring Plans, but they have been completely off on a few things for me. Mostly we ignore EMH or plan to leave a park with EMH quickly as to not gt the most crowds.

Oddly October felt busier than June and June was less than March, yet similar to May. Only early Feb (no race or holidays) felt lower but not by a lot now.

Just google WDW crowd calendar several come up. That's all I do I check which ones agree the closest

My method as well. Its a good starting point to make plans now that Disney is making you schedule far in advance. There used to be more reliability but now it can be a surprise when you show up at the parks and find exactly what youre walking in to. I have put a bit more value on Touring Plans site but after Ive made my decision, I go to the parks knowing theres no absolute, perfect numbers. We have park hoppers so just in case we want to bail out and go in another direction we can.

Crowd calendars are a tough gig lately. Some can vary wildly, either between other calendars or actual crowd levels.

I use Touring Plans to have a basic framework, but they can vary a lot more than they used to depending on what Disney does with operations (like we saw this past January).

My trip is Jan 20 - 24, 2019. We arrive Sunday of ML King weekend. Some plans predict extremely heavy crowds on Sunday and Monday; others mention light crowds in the weeks between marathon and cheer weeks.

Doesn't really matter--I'm going anyway.

I use Touring Plans and Undercover Tourist. These are used for planning but with the understanding that they do not seem as accurate as they were even three years ago. This is understandable as they use past information to try to guess the current situation. Crowds have been weird and hi and low crowds have been switching at different times of the year from their old norm.

They are not to far off and as it has been stated above, it seems that a four today is a larger number of people than a four from yesterday. This doesn't make sense to me, I don't believe that WDW has changed the max number of people that can be in a park at one time, this should be set by government ordinance.

But if you are trying to plan, these are good places to start.

The best part of Touring Plans for me is the mobile app, you select the attractions you want to do and can check them off as you do them, this way I don't forget to do an attraction.

None. It’s unbearable during holidays and a tossup pretty much any other day. I’ve seen the parks dead during a Labor Day week/weekend and absolutely packed on a random Tuesday in September.

My one suggestion would be to double check EVERYTHING possible against any crowd calendar. Early magic hours, seasonal offerings, anniversaries, school and business holidays and special hard ticket events.

Undercover tourist was helpful on most of our 2016 trip. However, it failed to factor in that October 1, 2016 was Magic Kingdom's 45th anniversary. It was a mad house. Basically waisted a days ticket because we couldn't stand the crowd level and we didn't have park hopper that trip.
