Fingers crossed that you found something. Boy...I know all about those "SoFla overpriced restaurants" - I live there :grumpy: When people squeal at the cost of drinks and food at WDW, I'm always jealous. Those are everyday prices around here.

I should have never looked at this.
I could leave Monday from MCO. Any chance of a one night DVC rental on the 26?

Do you understand how booked this time of year is for DVC? I'm asking because it seems like people keep saying that this late in the game you won't find anything and you keep asking for advice. Unless you find an already booked DVC rental, you will not be able to get one at this point. There is absolutely nothing at all at any resorts (not even a cabin or bungalow) at DVC for the 26th or any of the dates you have asked about. Sorry but you need to book elsewhere.

Trust me, I know... I lived the majority of my life there.lol When vacationing there, we typically stay at the Casa Marina in Key West, Boca Raton Resort or Beach Club, or The Breakers. I’m always defending Disney prices because I know what other resorts add up to be! Totally agree with you!

I just didn’t have a desire to do a Ft Lauderdale beach vacay this year. We had Disney booked, I cancelled so we could go to KW and also spend some time volunteering in BPK.
Now it looks like we won’t do either one.

Hoped for a last minute cancellation or 1 single night being free. If not, that’s ok. The cruise is the main part of this vacay.. it will still be great :)

Of course I would ask if a single night may be available, last minute changes do happen. I think it’s crazy to not check on something and always assume the worst.
Thank you for looking.

If there is someone who will get a room at the just minute it likely would be a member since they can work the system. However this close out, most will not want to cancel as it would cause points to go into holding. 31 days and put your be more likely to possibly something. Now it would be closer to impossible. Your only hope is to find a reservation that was already made but that's not likely for just a day or two even as you cannot split reservations. So while it makes sense to you, as a member I view it differently. I truly am trying to let you know that what you are asking for us not easy to do with DVC. It's even more impossible to do this close to a trip for a renter.

@epcotisbest 911! Please. I won’t even be indecisive, I promise!! :)

Sorry I am so late reading this. Here is the deal, at this point, just get an offsite and a rental car, no shame in that. Look at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Hilton Bonnett Creek or similar. Maybe even the Bohemian at Celebration, all quite nice. You will have nice accommodations, save a substantial amount and still be close to whatever park or parks you might be going to. What day or days do you need in Orlando? I'll do some checking for you when you have exact dates and make a recommendation or two as we have stayed at lots of nice offsite places.

Thank you! I think we’re just going to head straight to Miami. I’ve been going back and forth for close to a week...this time the indecisiveness was unintentional.
A child only receives a sacrement once though.. I never thought that this trip would interfere with something like that. Partially my fault for not asking earlier.

Be safe and have a good trip.
