New Feature In the Parks NOW

We are testing out a new feature where you can post real-time updates from the parks. Let others know about park conditions, weather, parking, wait times, meet ups, or anything else. Think of it as a live trip report that anyone can contribute to. It is an ideal place to post an update that perhaps isn't worthy of its own dedicated thread.

You'll find it at the top of the forum list, or directly https://forums.wdwmagic.com/forums/in-the-parks-now.149/

Posts made in this section will be in reverse order, meaning that the newest post will appear at the top of the thread on page 1.

You can also let people know you are currently in the parks. Go to your profile at https://forums.wdwmagic.com/account/account-details and set "In the Parks" to Yes. An "In the Parks" note will then appear next to your Avatar on any posts you make.

Hope you can make use of the new section and as always, please let me know of any feedback or suggestions.

I really like this idea, but do you think that perhaps we can add a mandatory date feature to the titles? Looking at the threads now all I see is "In Hollywood Studios NOW" but those posts were already a few days ago. Would be nice if the threads were separated by day (or maybe delete old posts at the end of each day in a Studios-thread) other than having to navigate through to see which one is for which day.

Otherwise, love the idea!

You wont need to navigate through the thread, as the latest post will appear at the top (it's in reverse order).

We have not had any use of it yet, so I'm not sure how successful it will be. Certainly not enough use to do daily threads.

I love this idea!

But I'm not seeing the thread on the forum list. I have to come to this thread and click the link above. Most times I forget about it unless i see the "note/banner" at the top of the page. I know I'd use it a lot more if I saw the forum listed.

I am getting the newest posts on the top and have to scroll up to see the most recent.

Okay, this may sound silly, but does WDWMAGIC have an App? Otherwise, I have to go through my email to find a link to the website. Can anyone help out an old-lady with technology??? 😂😅🤣
