In Loving Memory - Disney Magic

Since alot of us were introduced to the Disney Magic by relatives and loved ones, and alot of us pay our respects to those individuals by "doing something" that those loved ones really enjoyed while we are in the parks, I though that would be a good thread idea. (sorry if its been done before).

Mine would be my mom and riding Its a Small World, going to Hall of Presidents and Country Bear.

What a great thread topic !! I have posted some of these things in other threads, but I will elaborate a bit here. I was first introduced to Disney by my beloved Father. On Sunday nights I'd sit in his lap and watch The Wonderful World of Disney. I remember how truly magical it was when we got our first color tv. We waited until Sunday night to first turn it on so that Tinkerbell was the very first thing we saw in color !! He took me on my first trip there when I was 16. We continued making trips every 2 or 3 years, eventually adding my husband and my 2 sons as they came along.

In his memory I always stop and listen to the piano player on Main St, sit in the rockers in Frontierland, and drink a dark ale in Germany. Doing these things make me feel like Dad is right there with me still.

It is also a tribute to him that I have raised all my children to keep the magic in their hearts just like PapPap did.

OMG, I thought when reading the thread title, that the Disney Magic (the cruise ship) had sunk.
Whew!
I'd have to say ride the monorail. My dad told my mom once that his favorite thing about going to WDW is watching me plaster myself against the Monorail window to get that first glimpse of Cinderella Castle.

My grandparents were the first ones to take us to disney world and l still look at photos of my grandfather sitting on a bench in main street when they had the flower carts, remember my grandfather in one of the skyway cable cars pointing out 20k and other attractions or going on its a small world. My dad was one who liked me enjoyed going on the HM,especially at night, we get off and hurry back in line and go on it again and again or another of my dads favorites was IASW,my dad also got me into photography and now i'm always snapping photos when l go on these trips and can't help to think of my dad or grandfather whenever l visit Disney world, man how l miss them. My all time number one favorite park is and will always be the Magic Kingdom, thats where my memories are the strongest and will always be better than the rest(Hence my disneymagic screen name). Now l pray l find my own princess and have someone to create and share new memories with. Anyone out there interested? :)
