A professional?! That's high praise indeed. I'm just an amatuer who has figured out that if you take hundreds of pictures on your vacation a handful of them will come out really well. :animwink: :lol:

Same here. I'm sure there are thousands of pictures that I've deleted just because I know I can do better. The fun thing about photography to me is that, though you may plan and try to get some good shots, some of the best photos are taken without even trying! And there are sometimes that you try to take a picture of something, but you end up capturing something better!

Thansk sillyspook13. The best thing about having a digital camera on vacation is you can go back to the hotel every night, plud it in to the TV and dump all the "failures". Plus, by seeing what you did wrong you get a change to try an correct your mistakes and get the picture you really wanted.
