Ok guys, I'm gonna give you a little "Manager's minute" here to sort of pull everyone's ideas together and to answer some questions and address some suggestions.

1 New Lands
Ok, I'm going to be opening up a forum exlusivly for posting ideas for lands that will be in the park, simply post which ones you like, or any new ideas you've come up with, and a description/argument on why your's is best. After 3 days, we'll vote on them.

2 Main Entrance
This has been coming along very nicely, thanks josh for the great artwork! we'll be deciding on final concepts really soon. For this, I am going to set up a time for a chat where we will discuss and come to a conclusion on what we should do for the entrance, that idea will be final.

I'm thinking thursday night at 8pm, if anyone has a problem with this, tell me on this board, and we'll try to reschedule.

3 Teams
I knew this would come up eventually, and let me just say this. Right now, LoL is in it's infant stages, we are really just brainstorming things up right now, and then combing our ideas. Once we get a good solid group of ideas in order, we will be splitting up into functioning groups. This also gives me a chance to see who is really devoted and not, and to see everyone's talents for jobs and such. So just hold on, and we will be put into groups.

So, thats whats going on now. Be sure to post your ideas for lands, in fact, I'm renaming future imagineer's post to 'Land Ideas' so that everyone can post their ideas on it. But in 3 days, we will vote on a final 5. Great? Good.

Everything is going great! I'm really happy with the way things are turning out!

Regarding the teams;

I think that once we have the list of lands established, voted on, and set in stone... we should break off into teams. I also suggest we volunteer for teams... not assign. I only see problem with people being assigned.

Im not sure teams is the write word, we should bereak up into things we have a passion for, like me I think I can get some dynomite stuff down for Ploynesian land, me and Disney2b already have great ideas, maybe me and him could team up on that one, but I dont think assigning is the right word, we gotta get details on what people striclty want to do.

Exactly. For example, Monorail Black and myself have experience using CAD. We could be the project CAD Specialists... drawing up blue prints, etc. I think everybody, once the lands are decided, should pick a land they really want to work on OR pick a discipline you could help the entire team with. For example, DisJosh doesn't really want to work in teams, but is a fantastic artist and couple perhaps help people draw up concept drawings.

After the lands are decided, I think everybody needs to make a list of what they want to do and what they are good at.

I agree completely, FYI I have a passion for the Ploynesian also as a helpful hand to the rest, I can make up RCT versions of any idea, its any way to see what your idea looks like, just ask Chad on the Main Entrance stuff I did, we finnally got it done. But this is probly the best thing we can do!:)

Yeah, sounds good. I think teams are probably a good idea. I'm easy, but I'd probably prefer the Roman-Greek Land.

Yes, but I'm adding one more step before we break off. We're gonna vote on a general land layout for the park after we estalish the lands. Then, a list will be compiled of what people want to do, and we will work in different groups

-Ride design (including theming and dreaming)
-Concept art
-blueprints/floorplans etc (For our resident CAD specialists :) )
-Traffic flow, traffic management, transportation

and any other you think we may need. And don't worry, you can be in as many as you want. You can be in all if you'd like. They would all work together, and we'd report on our progress, and make sure that we stay focused and ensure that all the ideas work together.

I think this would be much better then splitting us up by lands, instead, have all the groups work on one land at a time (with the exception of traffic flow, they'd probably have to look at the park as a whole)

Sound good?

I like lands better, fhave a small group focus on one land, and also help out others....but me more direted toward that land, maybe a CAd speciualist per land or something..

I understand what you mean, but I think that would be spreading us too thin, giving only one CAD specialist or one Concept artist to each land? I think if we had more people of each intrest we could do that, but for now it would be better if we focused allour attention and efforts on one land so we get more viewpoints, more creativity, and more involvement in the whole.

I don't think the park will flow with the land idea. If we all have some involvement with each land... we will make sure they all have something in common, but are unique at the same time.

Exactly, it will be easier for us to tie them all in, and work together. Plus, in the end, we would all feel like we helped build the whole park, instead of just one land.
