Immersive Themed Hotel

I have been wondering why Disney has never done a highly themed immersive IP based hotel? We have things like Art of Animation which is just light theming that doesn't really try to immerse you in an environment. At the other extreme of course was the Star Cruiser which was a full experience that you just happen to be able to sleep over in.

What I am thinking of is a standard hotel but one that immerses you in the world of a movie, for example an entire Pirates of the Caribbean themed hotel? They have done this with individual rooms, but never whole hotel.

Maybe they could do one for Star Wars.

For me it's just a place to sleep. I'm hardly ever there. I pick my hotels/resorts more for logistics. How far is it from the parks? How far away is the bus stop after leaving the parks? How good is the transportation system to the parks? How busy is this hotel? The themes are cool but it's way down on my list on where I choose where to stay.

By the way my favorite - French Quarter. It's central to all the parks. The bus system works well on both ends and it's not near the long walk as one of the All Star resorts at the end of the day. It's small so it never seems that busy.
