I have wanted to be an imagineer since i was 6 . I would like to know if any one else really wants to be an imagineer as bad as me and i mean really really really really really bad.I would also like to know if there any imagineers members on tis site (although i doubt there are ny).:king:

I'm an asspirig imagineer/animator...really undecided. I dream about doing both. I'll be majoring in illustration so I could really go in either direction so only time will tell. :)

I'm a Junior in High School and I am the only one that is a big time Disney Fanatic. Everybody thinks I'm the weirdest...My last visit to Disney World, and some help from my brother, pushed me into the direction of wanting to be an Imagineer. Now, I'm a nutcase...I have to do some sort of Career Project for my Business class and I plan on researching the Disney Imagineer job for that project. I think it would be so awesome to be an Imagineer!!:hammer:

I'm with that. I'd rather make the decisions than have to follow them. It must be awful being an Imagineer and not being able to carry out you best ideas.

Ideally...the ideas they carry out ARE their best ideas. I would like to believe those are what Eisner approves...but I know it's more along the lines of the best, cheapest idea...except when someone else picks up the tab, as with Mission: Space. I haven't heard of any cutbacks on this ride yet...which is very kewl:)

Imagineering Book

OK for all of those "aspiring imagineers" out there, there is a book I saw at Media Play that was devoted to all of Imagineering.

It was $40 and softcover. There was LOTS of good schtuff in there! Lots of old ride posters, designs for "dropped" rides, etc.

It goes from the start of Imagineering until almost present day.

I would highly recommend it for all of you! :king:

Trust me...the majority of us asspiring imagineers already own that book! ;)

I added that one to my collection a looooooong time ago! :)
