Just saw this and wanted to share. Although as usual it probably hit these boards already and I missed it but it is exciting to me that they are trying to finally bring something new and cutting edge that will actually add to the show.

DANG IT! I knew that would happen. Oh well, in any case it is nice to see one or two of the Imagineers managed to escape the barracks, survive the barbed wire and tunnel their way under the walls to the patent office before management found out!

I would have never said imagineers are dead, its been proven time after time, the imagineers still have great ideas, the bean counters never let them see the light of day unfortunately

As the OP stated, Imagineers are not dead, they just don't employ any in Florida. They're very employable in Anaheim, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, etc... they just have no place in Lake Buena Vista, it seems.

Kind of funny that not one drone is displayed in Epcot. On the other hand I think drones should only be used for hobbyists flying them in a field or their back yard.

You forgot the part where WDI is so bloated and dysfunctional and makes the project about twice the cost that it needs to be, then it gets rejected due to lack of funding.
