Erm, true?Magizoology Time
True or False: Bicorns are fat because they feed on "faithful husbands", while it's cousin; the Chichevache; is thin because they feed on "obedient and faithful wives", in which there are none.
False; unless you're a muggle from medieval times. Both are herbivores; however, the bicorn has oddly placed fat deposits, and the chichevache also feeds on lignified materials ; which strengthens their bones, leading to their emaciated appearance; so no matter how much they eat their bodies lay down bones the same rate as flesh and fat, and devour them at the same rate when starvation comes. Despite both being hard to domesticate, they both have been a source of potion ingredients (Bicorn horn for potions; most particularly Polyjuice Potion; and Chichevache milk for medical potions and potion thickeners; and even their hair can be wand cores; though this is rare as a Mountain Troll not getting scars from attempting to domesticate Graphorns.Erm, true?
