The Imagineering Hall of Fame was a concept designed back in 2013 to pay special tribute to the armchair Imagineers and their contributions to the Imagineering community over the years. Each fall, the Imagineering community nominates and votes in a class of Imagineers into the Hall of Fame.

The Nomination Process
The only requirement to be nominated is that the member has been an active contributor to the Imagineer forum and/or other Imagineering sites for at least 6 months - 1year.

Each person can nominate up to 2 members that they would like to see in the Hall of Fame by commenting on this thread below with their selections.

This process will continue until we reach up to the maximum of 10 nominations (this site's polling system has a maximum of 10 slots). If more than 10 members are nominated then there will be a preliminary vote to narrow it down to 10.

After the 10 nominees are finalized, the voting poll will be established, where you can vote for up to 5 members you'd like to see get into the Hall of Fame. Once the votes are in, the 5 highest voted members become the Imagineering Hall of Fame - Class of 2024! *If there is a tie for 5th, then additional members can be added.

@Mr. Sullivan and @Earlie the Pearlie! Two amazing armchairs Imagineers I had the pleasure to work with in the SA8 competition - Earlie was the GOAT who was charming, fun, and a team builder creating some amazing things (and my companion throughout basically the entire season!), and Sully was a wise and powerful fighter who always shined in every prompt, with the extraordinary achievement of having won every round in the game, working as a good luck charm too. Both of you guys also placed extremely high in the final results as proof of your commendable contributions- the greatest duo to have joined an Imagineering game at the same time... a very worthy nominee pair for the Class of 2024 :D

When I saw the notification for this, this is who immediately sprang to mind!

Other than that, the one who comes to mind I’m not sure meets the time criteria. He’s been killing it in One Sentence Comp though. If @Disgruntled Walt meets the time criteria and hasn’t been inducted under another username, then I think his performance in that game is on its own enough to earn a nom. If he hasn’t been playing around in here long enough yet, please keep it up because your ideas are so cool and I’ll bookmark you for nomination next year!

I’d also like to nominate @EagleScout610 who has had many many great ideas over in the Country Bear thread. If we could do more than two I’d nominate a ton more, there’s been a lot of great creative minds this year!

I'm only in my 3rd 1SC (tied for 3rd in the first one, withdrew from the second one since it got delayed, and now leading the current one), which is the only competition I really have time to do, so I'm very grateful to even be mentioned here (thanks again, @Mr. Sullivan ). I still can't believe I was a member of this site for so many years without knowing this side of the forums was here. I would have loved this when I was in high school (as you are now!) and college. But I'm glad to be here now! Whoever came up with the Imagineer side of this site deserves to be commended! As someone who spent countless hours drawing my own theme parks in school notebooks and printer sheets all my life, this is such a cool space to see what others have come up with and share my own ideas (I'm sure most of you feel the same way). Hopefully at some point I'll have time to do one of the bigger competitions, but for now I'm just glad to be able to exercise my imagineering muscles on the 1SCs!

I’m right there with you! I’m in my early 20s at the moment but I would’ve spent every day of high school doing this! @spacemt354 invited me to do Sorcerer’s Apprentice and I fell in love. Managed to be on the winning team for every prompt and of course that was largely due to having amazing collaborators that helped bring not only ideas pitched but their own amazing ones to light. But it also showed me that hey I may actually be decent at this, and it’s inspired me to hone in and keep developing an Imagineering identity.

And it’s all because of, as you said, this amazing community!

You’re doing brilliant stuff in the 1SC. If you ever get time, I agree you should jump at lne of the larger competitions like Sorcerer’s Apprentice or What If and see what the even larger scale brings out in you. I got to design some really cool things in SA this summer and am working on cool things right now in What If all because these prompts are so genius. You’d be a natural at them, I’m sure!
