Not sure how this escaped notice, but as the result of a partnership between Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Educational Productions, a new educational DVD series, aimed at teachers, has been created. It's called "The Science of Disney Imagineering" and focuses on the engineering and physics principles of Disney attractions. Here are the Amazon links:

$50 that is alot of money for a DVD these days. Plus they are out of stock as of this morning. Seems steep.

I believe these type of DVD's are more expensive due to the fact they are for public viewing in the classroom. It is not a DVD for the use in a private home. The DVD's look great...maybe they will release them for home use too.

I wonder if the "Out of Stock" is like they haven't even received an yet?

Considering they're educational videos and not intended for mass home viewing, they may have seriously limited initial production to judge the demand before distributing them widely.

I'm wondering if they use avenues like Amazon to judge interest and then when people "waitlist" for them, they'll decide what kind of production numbers to shoot for.

Just a wild, random guess...
