Save Your Money
From what i hear the class is somewhat helpful but like most internet courses the degree or certificate in this case you are awarded at the end is not taken seriously. Granted it looks very tempting, taught by an ex-imagineer and the like but it feels like a rip off. I suggest taking real courses in environmental design, art, architecture, theatre and set design, graphic design or animation at a university, now these aren't aimed at Imagineers in training but it doesn't mean that your projects couldn't be based on theme parks. Save your 200 bucks and just buy some design books, storyboarding books, WDI books, stage and lighting books and a good sketch tablet. Imagineering is something that can't be taught via the internet. All he is teaching you about are principles of theme park design and engineering which he talks about in his "Course Syllabus." He's not even a professor with a Phd. When I read through this I laughed because it's stuff that I have already read about in various WDI books.
