Basic, I know, but as I stated from the beginning I am using this ride design to learn how to use the programs I have for work. I am hoping to get a schematic and still images of the Aladin sequence soon. (Had some remodeling projects this week at home):hammer:

That was awesome

It looked so realistic considering that none of what you showed really existed. I am also interested in architecture/engineering, so I was wondering what program it was you used to make that video. Please reply and keep up the good work!

Welcome to the boards! You might get into trouble combining Architects and Engineers in the same reference like that!:lol: It has always been a grudge match between the two.

I used Autodesk Viz 4.0 on that model and video. I work in Autocad to get things the way I like them and then I go into Viz to model. I usually model in Autocad but I am using this Ride Design to practice the program more. I have dabbled with this line of programing for a couple of years now, but I have made it a point to learn this program and its techniques this year. I hope to upgrade to the 2006 version here soon. (I hope) Keep checking in!

Looking for help!

I am looking for a couple of things, that if you can help please post::D

1) A FONT that would be in keeping with Belle to create the Main sign.
The name of the ride will be "Belle's Imagination Tour"
I was wanting two fonts: one for Belle's and one for Imagination Tour.

2) I am also looking for pictures of Belle in her basic town dress, standing
reading/holding a book, etc. (I am wanting to use them as stand ins for
the different scenes she will be in and later after the ride is laid out try
creating a better image.

3) Last thing for now! A sign design with Belle, the name of the ride and the
shape of the sign. I have some ideas but wanted to know what others
thought.

It has all the movie clips to give me a big jump on the rest of the ride.

Small Update

I have completed the Library and revised the video. (added books, still image of Belle in location and transition thru wall.

A test video of the Aladdin Carpet ride sequence. Very crude but just wanted to show something. This sequence will be very time consuming. The opening view will have the palace in the background and as you start down into the city there will be more details and items around. This video shows only the opening drop and first turns. This video is probably only a 1/5 of the ride. The sky will be pasted to a ceiling and thus will appear to move later but for now is just a still background.

Sorry! Nothing new. As I posted earlier I have been doing home improvement for the wife and kids. I have been putting time into murals for my girls. I will post pics if any one is interested. We painted my little girls room pink with an already existing blue wainscot and I am working on a Princess mural and later will add small figures throughout the room like Flounder, mice, birds, faries, etc. But, I hope to get back to the ride design asap! :veryconfu
