Trip Report I'm Tagging Along ~ LIVE! *COMPLETED*

Almost everybody has one ~ a friend or relative who doesn't think twice about inviting his/her self along with whatever you have planned.

I never thought I'd be that person.

Fortunately, I have a very understanding family who is actually excited about my joining them at WDW. < Phew! >

It's been a year since my last live trip report, so I hope I can do @JenniferS and her fans proud!

I am desperately trying to get my parents to go next year for their 55th anniversary. Need to find way.....
Can you surprise them with a trip? I did that for my mom's birthday last year. Gave her a wrapped box with all the info as her Christmas present, and our trip (over her birthday) was in February. Since I had made all the arrangements all she had to do was enjoy....which she did!

Glad you were finally able to meet up and i'm glad you are having a good trip! So jealous that you are back again so soon. I'll just live vicariously through your trip report though!
It was a terrific trip. Although we did have the usual family "we need a little space away from each other" times like you encountered on your family vacation. ;)

It's always special to meet a wdwmagic friend!
Agree completely! I have been fortunate to meet several and it is always great fun!

I love it when we get to see the faces that go with posters here. Thanks for sharing! Great report so far!
Thank you for reading. And I like seeing the "faces behind the names" too.

@Tuvalu , those were some artsy fartsy crane shots you took. :p
I do my best! :joyfull:

I love living vicariously through you! Your niece and nephews are too precious! It must be amazing to see Disney through their eyes :) :)
Being with the little kiddies and watching their excitement and enthusiasm over everything was the BEST part of my week!

I love the live trip report! So jealous you get to go so often. Looks like you guys are having a blast so far.
We did have a blast! I am enjoying your TR now. You have a lovely family.

You all look like you are having an incredible time. Your pictures are just out of this world. Thanks so much for sharing your trip with us! :)
Thanks, Buddy. I loved reading about your "real" Key West shenanigans and anxiously await the "fake" OKW shenanigans! :joyfull:

So glad you are having an awesome trip!! Fantastic pictures! Cute kids!!
Thank you on both accounts!

Live?!? So fun!!! As I am experiencing serious WDW withdrawals, aka DWD (Disney Wthdrawl Depression), I am living vicariously through you right now and I must say it's going great!

Love that you're there with lots of family, 3 generations! You get to experience the beauty of Disney from many points of view-kids, adults, and kids at heart.

Have fun!
Spending extended time with 3 generations was truly special. My parents' grandkids range in age from 31 (my son) to almost 2 (L). For them, it's like starting over with grandkids! And they'll be great grandparents very soon! :inlove:

I would LOVE to, but the logistics involved would require a whole lot of Pixie Dust. But I won't give up hope!

Add me to your special club list too. Almost 2 weeks and we did just under 3 hours at AK. I would have liked to have seen the Tree at night but wasn't will to go all the way out there to look at a lit up tree. But I did enjoy my full slab of ribs at Flame on the free dining plan though.
I enjoy AK best when it is not 105 degrees and 100 percent humidity...give me sweatshirt weather and I can find lots to keep me occupied there. :) Em and I liked the lit tree "awakenings" we saw in July but I don't expect to see it again until ROL opens.

She has such a lovely head of hair and yet I just want to pull up in a couple of piggytails.
M's hair takes on a life of its own!! :joyfull:

@Tuvalu I FINALLY caught up today. What a wonderful report and I love that you had three generations in attendance! My family is very spread out in age as well because my mom is the youngest of six siblings and her oldest sister is 19 years older than my mom. The cousins range from early 50s (my mom's oldest sister's kids) to 21 (my younger brother). And there are plenty of great-grandchildren in there as well.

I can't believe how long your meals were at Teppan Edo and Skipper! Usually I feel borderline rushed out of everywhere in the parks.

Thank you for great photos of everything!

I admire you for doing a mostly live TR! I've been considering doing a live TR for our November trip which in theory shouldn't be too hard since it's a short trip and we won't be in the parks. I might drive M nuts, though!

Now I'm sure you've posted it SOMEWHERE, but when is your next trip??

TSA was a nightmare. While I always get pre-check in Atlanta, I never get it in Orlando.

When I was heading home from MCO this past May, I got TSA preclear on the way home, too! (I had only had it outbound, from my home airport, Logan International, on all my yearly trips prior to that.) I guess they realize by now that I travel once a year, to the exact same location, at practically the exact same dates . . . so they just pre-cleared this woman in her second childhood, r-trip--guess I must look harmless! :hilarious:

Okay Figgy, this post is dedicated to you. Thanks for all your sweet comments. :inlove:

You two are so cute together! You look like life long friends.
It was a thrill to meet @Tony the Tigger! I think we could be great friends.

I'm glad the food has improved. Your yummy plates look nothing like what we we wound up with.
We all thought the food at Hollywood and Vine was very good, especially for buffet food. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Thank you, but it needs to be fully restored to the original including the upstairs with Figment doing M&Gs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agree! Do you have any pictures of a Dreamfinder & Figment Meet and Greet? I don't. :(

I'm so sorry to hear that, is that the norm for there. We decided to do a 4 park hop the day we had an ADR for there and wound up cancelling. I haven't been there in forever and was hoping to make it back. Feel free to answer when you get home THNX
I read in another TR that Teppan Edo was a slow meal for for them too. We have hibachi restaurants in my area and what set Teppan Edo apart was the mustard sauce...since that is no more, we don't need to make an effort to dine at there anymore.

Would you please stop posting cute kid pics I'm ready to drop kick my boys and their video games out! Just kidding sort of
But remember, even with cuteness there's tantrums.....;)

They are beautiful but I still miss the welcome show
I miss the AK welcome show too.

Way too much cuteness going on. BTW you look happy and you're in AK???????? Me thinks you may just like it a little more than you admit.
I like AK a whole lot better in the winter! But I do enjoy a good safari ride. And we had a good one!

Wed Way is my dh's all time favorite moving bench.
That's why we call Wedway the "Moving Park Bench 2.0" The train is our original "Moving Park Bench."

Thank you for another great TR
Thank you for following along! :cat:

Sounds like a lovely family trip @Tuvalu ! If you like drama free adventures....:bored:
Most of the drama didn't even make it into my report....:cautious:

Hope you're still having a fantastic day! Pretending I'm there with you :inlove: Also, the picture with Aladdin and Jasmine was adorable. I actually like her new outfit in that shot! It looked meh in the first few shots I saw, but it looks better there.
Happy you were "pretending!" Looking forward to your F&W report.

Way to go! Seize the day!
I carpe'd that diem! :joyfull:

I see this cuteness just runs through the whole family! :) How fun to see more of your family enjoying Disney too! Still following along!
Awwww thanks, @cgersic

Hope you are enjoying your last day!!! Loved following along!
Thanks for reading yet another of my TRs!

So since you asked, @DimpledDevil18, @BWK05, @MinnieM123 and @bee ~

So sad to be seeing you leave... I hope you have another trip planned soon!

So when is the next trip/report??

Hey, @Tuvalu , haven't you been home a few days now? Isn't it time to go back to WDW?! (You must be having the cold sweats from "withdrawal" symptoms!!) :jawdrop:

@TuvaluNow I'm sure you've posted it SOMEWHERE, but when is your next trip??

My next trip begins on Saturday. As in 3 more days. :D :jawdrop:   :cautious: :joyfull:

thanks for the great trip report!
Thank you for reading! :)

Loved your trip report. I'm hoping to go during this same time next year (if my husband's best friend would hurry up and choose a wedding date that would be great). Any tips for going during this week?
Be prepared for rain. Every time I have visited in September it has rained hard for several hours. And I have found it to be just as hot (if not hotter) than summer! Fastpasses are still valuable even with lighter crowds. Hope you get to plan your trip soon!

When I was heading home from MCO this past May, I got TSA preclear on the way home, too! (I had only had it outbound, from my home airport, Logan International, on all my yearly trips prior to that.) Too funny! Logan was the airport my family flew out of when I was growing up. :cat:
