Apple computers are like 50 times easier to use than Windows computers. I'm a recent switcher.

Hmmm...when it comes to APPLES...it's easier to get to the core of the problem (BJC REPRESENTIN'!)

Gordon Lightfoot huh?

Early Mornin' Rain caused the Pussywillows and Cattails to grow Bitter Green. Rainy Day People like Cotton Jenny and Daylight Katy Go Go Round on the Carefree Highway and Race Among the Ruins ;) but the Circle is Small. If You Could Read My Mind you'd be Restless...but Stay Loose and...Baby...Step Back ;)

(and who doesn't like the Wedway music?)

You guys make me smile. :D

Noooo, not MaelstromRocks! I wish I had known about that before I joined this board with the name Maelstrom! :brick:

Maria: Gordon Lightfoot is a singer/songwriter (from Canada!). His music is kind of folk-country, but I find it hard to categorize. You might recognize songs like "Carefree Highway", "Sundown", & "If You Could Read My Mind", if you heard them. AND: I don't get the "hut in Mars" joke, but I do love the Wedway. AND: my pictures are out there, if you look hard enough. I will not post pictures of me ever again because I look like a 13 year old; I am 17, almost 18 (less than 2 months!) and people think I should still be in high school. :brick:

WDWFreak53: You put way too much work into that, lol. But do you really like Gordon Lightfoot?

I feel like a part of the group for once. :sohappy:

Ok...

1. WDWFREAK53??? Don't feel like you're part of the group until you call me Brian or just plain Freak  (jk...but now you know my name)

2. Well, Gordon Lightfoot isn't one of my favorites...but I do like a few of his songs...My uncle LOVES him...that's how I know his stuff...but he's pretty good.

3. Note to people who want to be "in the group": Just be a girl that's looking for love  jk

Well you never introduced yourself!!

A lot of the time I just feel like I am not being included. I feel like that a lot in real life too. I'm so afraid that I'm going to go to the meet in December and no one is going to know who I am!

Guys, please don't forget the immortal classic of Gordon Lightfoot: The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. I can't believe that no one listed that one.

Because that's everyone's favourite! I get sick of hearing it sometimes because it's so popular. And it's over 6 minutes long and feels like it's going on forever. :animwink:

*looks at age bracket*

Maelstrom, I'm sorry you are going through a hard time. I agree with the others. It will take some time, but you will be fine. It's his loss. Mr. Right will come along. It just takes meeting several Mr. Wrongs first to find him. :)

I mentioned that one in another thread (the one where she "offered" to take all of my Gordon Lightfoot vinyls off my hands. )

Maria, he was very big waaaaay back in the 70's :http://www.lightfoot.ca/

He has a nice gentle voice...folk music.

Kristen, I'm only 15 minutes away if you want to have lunch and trash this guy, just let me know.
