I'm Related to a Weirdo

I hate all sports except baseball. The rabid male sports fans in my family never said I was a weirdo, thank God. I like swimming, gardening, my work and amusement/theme parks. Other people like other things.

To each, his own.

I agree, she's probably going through a phase. I've been through many phases in my time (who hasn't?) such as the I HATE PINK phase, I don't like hats phase, the "emo" phase, etc. But since those have happened, I have learned a lot. Now I love pink, I have a variety of hats (a Stitch hat, 2 Goofy hats, 2 mini hats, beanies, and so on), and I enjoy *some* pop and country music now. (But mostly all I listen to is Disney music ;)) I also don't wear all black (only for funerals if I have to) and I don't hate everything. Now I love mostly everything in the world :P
So, maybe she'll grow to like Disney. Maybe she won't. But it's her choice. She's her own person and decides what she likes and doesn't like. Maybe you need to take her to WDW and show her what fun is. ;)

..well that unintentionally turned into a inspirational post.

Sometimes as a parent, when my daughter doesn't like something that I do or appreciate things I do, I do tend to take it as a personal rejection. It's sometimes hard to separate what's a personal affront and what's just a "phase". Most of the time, it's a phase, but its easy to get our feelings hurt when what WE expect isn't what THEY expect. On the subject of Disney, my girl is a mega huge fan and is always wanting to go. Other things, meh.

And because my daughter is A LOT like me, she is 100% weirdo!

My divorce in January 1999 cost me well over £50,000..My wedding in September 1999 cost me £10,000..My anniversary honeymoon in California was September 11th in 2001.. That was approx £5000. And to make matters worse, due to the terrorist attacks in New York, our flights were of course cancelled..So odd years are bad for me..
So I'm thinking you must have a bad spell on you. :) Yes, stick with the even years.
