I'm not going to renew my annual pass, how about you?

Wanting the food to be a step above inedible garbage is the bare minimum, at least for me.
I get that. I would too. My comment was more about how different communities feel towards the parks. This community would rather high themed experiences, high quality guest services and high quality food over major coaster additions. Where as the coaster community loves how they get new attractions every 1-2 years

Well, it's not as easy as that. SeaWorld/Busch Parks were known for high-quality coaster additions (along with the occasional dark ride/motion simulator), well-maintained gardens/parks and great service/food options... now it's just coasters lol

Voyager's Smokehouse at SeaWorld made Flame Tree BBQ look like school food... now it's inedible.

SeaWorld benefited from going after multiple different types of guests, now they are going with the simple coaster additions and calling it a day.

I do get and if you're not into riding coasters the value is not there now. Overall that's the direction most of the SeaWorld Parks are going.

As I said earlier the issue seems to be more of the community that is on these boards. On a lot of amusement park boards SeaWorld Parks and Dollywood are some of the best parks in the country. Again it all depends on what you want out of a park.

I'm a fan of all the parks, participate in all communities... I can assure your there's widespread criticism of SeaWorld's parks at their current state beyond this forum. Horrendous operations, distasteful/slimey surcharge fees, etc.

I don't think $1,500 is expensive relative to say a 5 day ticket.

I'd like them to make an annual pass something like $4,000

Oh. I see. You know what Disney should be better than Disney. Of course you do.
Lots of investors are upset, as they should be. With the performance of DIS, I'd argue I could do a better job. You think because they are in power they know what they're doing? You of all people should know sometimes people you don't like or unqualified people get into positions of power. ;)

Disney management is running the company into the ground or at least a lot of worse than it should be.

Reading this, I realize how squarely I am in the former community! I’d have no problem not having anything new for a number of years - I’d value having everything working, maintained beautifully, immersive experiences, decent food, and good service so much more! I’m not a thrill ride/coaster person so am not looking for more of that though. And I like the old flagship thrills like ToT that are richly themed as opposed to a Tron or whatnot…

Yeah, they have been adding coasters nearly every year for 6-7 years. They're some good looking rides too. They also added a pretty large sesame street kids area a few years back as well.
I love the additions they have been making. For a lot of people they were hoping that it would continue with being a family oriented park

If I lived in Fla, I’d for sure have one of the cheaper passes. But being a NJ resident (and a long time pass holder), the current AP does not make sense with this new era of Disney and my newer vacation habits.
