I'm here using free dining code: Can I move to another resort?

We're at Pop right now. Been here since Wed. We're not leaving until next Fri. Counting the 18-month old, there are 5 of us in here and we're feeling cramped. I tried for weeks to get a moderate but it was booked solid for the time we are here. Here's my question: Is it possible for me to change resorts now that I'm here without messing up our free dining?

only the front desk can help

The only people who can help you move during your stay is the front desk. I believe they have a way to transfer exisiting dining credits. But with it being a holiday weekend I don't know if there will be any where to move to.

I'm sure if there are rooms available, they will be able to move you. It might cost you some $$, but the extra space will be worth it.

Yeah, I figured I'd have to pay extra for an upgrade. I just don't want to mess with my free dining.
