Illuminations VS Wishes

For me Wishes without a doubt. Its pretty much nonstop action and having the backdrop of the castle is amazing.

I don't choose between them. I go see each of them 2 or 3 times when I go to WDW. They're different, and themed for their respective parks. RoE wouldn't work in MK, and Wishes wouldn't work in Epcot.

My two kids are different, but I wouldn't know how to answer if someone asked which one I like better.

Illuminations by alot. Wishes is perfect for the MK only, as it is, and doesn't need to be compared, because most of us would think RoE wins.

Note: I wish that Wishes was on the same scale as ROE. The castle does
add a lot. But it doesn't have the same pacing, and certainly isn't as spectacular.

The pacing is slower. There is much more downtime in ROE than Wishes.

Both are awesome frankly....Wishes has bringing you back to childhood effect which is great and can be emotional kind of pulls together the essence of Disney. Illuminations is also amazing with a great story to go with it and also gives you a good feeling of community.

Illuminations makes me cry every single time I've seen it - and I've seen it about 8 times or more. At Christmas when they follow it up with "Let there be Peace on Earth" you can freaking forget about it

I like Wishes - I like 100 times better then Fantasy in the Sky.
