Illuminations - Not on Schedule?

Disneyworld.com does not have Illuminations scheduled for January at all. It has all the other entertainment listings but not Illuminations..

Any ideas?

It was there!! I really hope its a mistake, I will be really upset if its been cancelled! Does anybody know where we can find out for definite? Please post any info if you get any. Thanks

Let's see...resorts are going down to 55 dollars per night...a 10,000 square foot pavilion is closing down...

I wouldn't be surprised if Disney pulled this off.

If youre gonna shut down Illuminations, you might as well shut down Epcot (sarcastic). But seriously, how much life will there be in World Showcase after dark without Illuminations? The thought of this boggles my mind (even though they probably have done this before)

Well, you've got to admit that you know quite a bit! I know that we've had some bad storms, but if I remember right a CM had mentioned something about an extremely small number of shows ever being cancelled. Surely Disney is not stupid enough to cancel shows in the 'slow season'. IllumiNations is the only thing that keeps me in that park at night.

OH def. I mean, by March, Food Rocks, Living Seas, and Wonders of Life would be down.

No Illuminations? . . . that would be horrible. I just wouldn't go to the parks.. It seems doubtful, though, because it's just so darn necessary.

The site was just completely redesigned and put online today, sometime after 3:00pm since it was the same then but completely different now at 10:00pm. The hours on the old version of site have been coming and going for a while, including MK having no hours for December at all yesterday. Now the new site has no hours for World Showcase at all in January, but give it time. There is obviously some things that will need to be adjusted as the new site design is launched.
One of the must sees for Epcot is Illuminations on this new site, so I guarentee it will be there. This kind of stuff always happens and every month people wonder if they are canceling something and a few days down the road everything is fixed on the calendar. Don't worry about it.

As expected, Illuminations has just been added to January's calendar. It will be shown everyday at 9:00pm throughout the month.

I would love to see what Epcots attendance would be with out Illuminations

Frankly, I don't think it would be all too different. Illuminations *is* crowded, but in the great scheme of things, I don't think the majority forms their visits over the "entertainment" schedules.

I bet you'd be surprised at how many people just go to Epcot for Illuminations
