Illuminations has small changes.

unlikely

Yeah,

with all of the sophisticated technology used in that show, it seems odd to me and unlikely that they have to have someone sitting inside of a barge that has explosives strapped to every inch of it.

:D Blizz--- When you get that "fantastic version" completed can I have a copy?

I can never get the pictures on the globe to come out  Guess that is what happens when you are a novice and use auto focus hummmmm ??????

I have been looking for Fantasmic and Illuminations on video to buy-- I guess they have not/will not be making one? Anyone else know whether it is, or will ever be available? :lookaroun I have seen parts of the shows on other videos, but not the complete version anyplace.

Sorry for the thread drift---:zipit:

I have a faint memory that Illum lighting runs on Alcorn McBride LightCue (but not 100% sure on that). Most of the hardware is heavily customized by Disney to meet their specific needs.

La Nouba definately runs on Whole Hog II though. :)

I have a book on RoE which states that the globe is guided by lasers across the water to the middle of the lagoon. Someone in another forum saids that someone actually sits inside and drives it. Once they are out in the water......they sit inside and watch TV and wait for the show to be over.........inside the bottom of this globe.

Can anyone shine some lite on this????

Thanks

Yes the Earth barge has a driver on board. The barge has 4 jet motors on board, and uses an infrared guidance to help the driver navigate to the landing spot in the center of the lagoon. Hope that helps :)
