Illuminations from La Hacienda de San Angel?

Is it possible to watch Illuminations from the outdoor patio at La Hacienda de San Angel? It seems easy to get dinner reserves at 8:45, so I just wondered if it was possible to see the show? Thanks

The outdoor patio is not a seating area for Hacienda, it is a seating area for La Cantina. In other words all seating for La Hacienda is indoors:wave:

Yeah, we've seen Illuminations from the back of La Cantina numerous times and its a great view.

They have large windows overlooking the lagoon from La Hacienda. I ate there shortly after it opened and we watched the show from inside the restaurant.

The view from inside La Hacienda is not the best view of Illuminations but it is a very good one. I would much rather be at one of the prime, non obstructed, viewing locations around the lagoon but I would never turn my nose up at watching it from inside La Hacienda. One unique feature that caught me a little off guard was the drastic reduction in noise from the fireworks. Loud explosions and reduced to mild thumps. Add that to the clean audio track played inside the restaurant and you have a really unique way to see Illuminations.
