Illuminations FastPass+

Can anyone with experience tell me a little about the FP area for Illuminations. I know I'll have to use my Tier 1 for Epcot, which is ok since I'll be spending 2 days there. Where is the location? How good is the view? Can I walk up 15 minutes before the show starts, and still get a good view? Thanks.

When I went with the folks, it was in this area next to Port of Entry. For us, the area to the left allowed for wheelchairs. My mother was in one. We were probably the exception. Our meal at LeCellier had just ended and with my Mom in a wheelchair, it was more comforting knowing there was a space for us.

Personally, I think it is a waste of a FP+. You can see the show from most anywhere around the World Showcase. Last June I was able to get a great spot on the railing 30 minutes before the show, just to the left of that area shown in the picture.

If you got the $ do the dessert party! They have improved the offerings since the first year it started and you don't need to waste a FP on it. You get a great view from that area.

Well, I'm not doing the Illuminations dessert party twice but I am doing the Illuminations Dessert Party on a Friday night and the Feel the Force SW Package Sunday night which includes the Star Wars Fireworks Dessert Party in HS.
