Ignore The Clickbait-Disney Won't Sell ABC

I wonder if in the near future we start to loose national television networks.
Would the government step in to save network television? They would probably let FOX die.

As you can see, even a lot of people don't think ABC is actually going to go. Some people even think he doesn't even mean what he said about linear TV, and he just said that to please Wall Street. (That might mean what he said about the quality of Pixar films is also said only for Wall Street's benefit and not his actual beliefs.)

I think it's more in between, that he plans to sell assets, but ABC, ESPN and Disney Channel are not among them. Furthermore, Disney will never be acquired by another company, not even Apple. I know Iger said a lot of things about Steve Jobs buying Disney if he were alive, but A) Iger had connections with Jobs, not Tim Cook, and odds are their relationship isn't the same at all, B) Jobs likely wouldn't have done it either, and would've thought it distracted from Apple's core business, and C) Apple buying a studio is a harder sell than Amazon buying MGM. Amazon's main business isn't involved in creating and selling technical product, of being so ingrained with tech, the way Apple is.
