Bob Iger is scheduled to be on CNBC live this afternoon around 3:10 Eastern time. I'm sure he'll be crowing about Oz and NBA ratings and looking ahead to Iron Man 3 ... but I'd be shocked if he doesn't discuss what gets announced down in the swamps earlier.

So ... here's a thread where we can all comment about what our fearless leader we worship unconditionally (yeah that's all BS) has to say about WDW.

He will say Oz is better than projected and we are high on the box office numbers for that. Then we have Lone Ranger coming up and we are certainly optimistic and excited to share that with you all.

As usual the networks are doing phenomenal for the company and we see no sign of that slowing down.

We have some magnificent new plans just announced today actually for the Downtown Disney shopping district in Orlando. We are excited at the new prospects for increased revenues and guest experience. We think guests will love it.

He will then be asked about MM+ and he will say:
It is ongoing but we are moving forward and we think things will turn out nicely. We really think guests will love the new customization and enhanced experience this will bring to their Disney vacation.

Wow Bob, I didn't know you posted here.

If anyone out there is planning a game of 'Hi Bob' for every time Iger or Maria says the word 'BRAND', please have a designated driver...

I'm actually going to keep a tally of how many times Iger says the phrases "brand/the Disney Brand" and "brand management/growing our brand" cause as we know those are some of his favorite words to use in the business world. So is our fearless leader we worship unconditionally  still planning to be on today with the delaying of DD expansion/revamp announcement? I'm curious on what he has to say on current WDW attendance now (is it up a hair) and MM+ if brought up by reporters. I swear, CNBC must love Iger cause that's the only channel I ever see him on. Although I did see him on the View that one time at the TWDC lot in Burbank.

There really aren't any other investment based channels besides Fox Business. CNBC is the go to station, that's what is always on the TV here at work and just about any financial firm in Manhattan.

In print Iger does all the big boys for interviews, Harvard Business Review, Bloomberg, Economist, WSJ, Businessweek... Pretty much all of them. The TV side for business is dominated by CNBC, they are the ESPN of business.

I'm sure he will still be on. In the grand scheme of things, DD is a very small project of what's going on in TWDC.

Also, CNBC is really the only channel you would really expect to see Iger appear.

I want add that it may be likely that Iger is asked about the decision to end the popular Clone Wars cartoon.

He will say:

We have some exciting new story ideas. Star Wars on TV, in animated form is definitely not done. We are going to go in a new and unseen direction. We also are excited at how well it will fit with our current Disney XD programming.

Sounds like, from your posts, you've seen the teleprompter script (for both sides of the party)!
