The way I hear it Steve Jobs is making a bid for Disney CEO.

I think Steve Jobs is very much like Walt Disney in many ways and may even bet a better business person than he. Steve Jobs is obviously very creative! Look at the films Pixar has made, the iMac, the iPod, ibook, etc.

Someone like Matt Ouimet would be perfect for the job, but I would like to see him continue his work at Disneyland for a while. Jobs is nearly as hard to deal with as Eisner - like was said, no one wants to deal with his demands for Pixar. While he has the imagination to do great things, I don't think it would work at Disney. They need someone who is willing to let Imagineers imagine, animators animate, and CM's enjoy their work. And having a sense of what made Disney Disney wouldn't hurt, either. :)

I think I read on the Juddge report that the following individuals are in the running for Disney's top job:

1. Oprah Winfrey - Can't argue her success and her platform would open WDW to even more people on a daily basis.

2. Bill Clinton - He single handedly made America what is was during his eight years of prosperity. Don't be fooled. Congress had nothing to do with the financial success of his administration.

3. Al Gore - Another logical choice. The inventor of the internet is a forward thinking, dynamo of a man. His very energy would be sufficient in moving the Disney Corporation forward.

4. Alec Baldwin - Just because

5. Donald Trump - Just so he can say to Mr. Eisner - YOU'RE FIRED with that little hand flip thingy.

6. Chester the Cheetah - Has driven sales of Cheetos through the roof. His business savvy and ability to drive new and innovative snack tastes make him a great fit with the company. I do not know if Mickey would be happy with a Cheetah as his boss though.

7. MKT - Just a rumor, but you heard it here fourth. . .
