I've been bored and have reading some accounts of people being banned for life from disney parks. How do they ensure you just dont buy a day ticket and show back up?

Fingerprint is tied to any person that uses any type of ticket to enter. A physical hard card ticket, magic band, etc. So that's the easiest to do is not accept the fingerprint and they also keep I believe a copy of the persons picture and license/ID on file. The Finger print on the Magic Band is Disabled is one way they do it
He did just get banned from Universal however just a month or two ago over his off limits back stage footage of the old nickelodeon studioWhen Adam got banned he explained they took his finger prints. He's not banned anymore though! Anything is possible!
Yeah, I heard about that. Seems a bit silly to ban someone five years after the fact. The OP was asking specificly about Disney though. And as far as I know, he's still welcome back at Disney. He did just get banned from Universal however just a month or two ago over his off limits back stage footage of the old nickelodeon studio
If you are referring to the Scanners at the front gates you are mistaken. The readers do not take your fingerprint. instead they use a combination of the shape of your finger and the blood vessels within as a work around to a law that prevents actual finger prints from being used. This is why people who push too hard (the old or really young for example) on the readers get kicked back. They have your fingerprint remember.

This. They don't use fingerprint/biometric scan, because people can just buy a new ticket then use a different finger. And the ban is for all Disney property and there are no biometric scanners at DS/Boardwalk.I believe that they use facial recognition software too.

Correct, it is a biometric scan of your finger, not a fingerprint.
I believe they inject you with a capsule that emits a low level radio transmission that can be tracked once you cross over the metal loop embedded under the concrete at the base of the fingerprint scanners.
