June, July and Aug are typically the 3 months youd want to avoid due to increasing levels of crowds, heat and humidity. Of the three August starts seeing numbers drop as schools open up. The heat and humidity however stays around. I'd go August only if I had that as my only opportunity. ( To be completely honest....Ive been in Aug and swore never again )

As I recall, when we did August, towards the end, the "love bugs" were out in force 🤢

We were initially going the first week in June (have done that in the past with not too bad of crowds, IMO). But we decided to move the trip to mid-end of July for DS b-day on the 20th (he's turning 16 and we've done his older brother's b-day at a Disney park and cruise before, but never him).

I swore the same thing … and now find myself planning a trip for this August. 😉

I always wanted to avoid summer months but with people in our family it is really the only time they can go. I know it will be hot and miserable compared to going in December or even May but hopefully with a lot of breaks, cold towels, fans, indoor rides and restaurants, etc it won't be awful

Heat doesn't bother me I'll lay out in the sun at high noon in August but my dh hides in A/C all day. Some of the things we do so that he doesn't melt is make an ADR for lunch, see indoor shows in afternoon, ride rides with short lines WEDWAY, COP, the tea cups or do indoor rides Soarin, MS, TT que in inside, most of ECPOT has places to escape the sun &/or A/C, DHS is best done at rope drop or after dinner, AK will be the hardest park to avoid the heat but again ARD for lunch and doing the shows in the afternoon will help with that and you'll be able to avoid the worst or IMHO the best of summer in Florida

We enjoy going in June. We have been multiple times in the first 3 weeks, sometimes tying it in with the very end of May. Crowds really haven’t been a huge issue on any of the trips, but be prepared for some rain.

Personally, I'd go for June, if for no other reason than I wouldn't have to wait as long for my trip. ;) I don't think there will be a noticeable enough difference in the weather between any of these dates for it to matter. I would also check on park hours, and see if there is a difference between any of the dates, as well as pricing, if that matters.

June. That's when we used to go most of the time when our kids were in school. It's just a tad less crowded and a tad less hot in June. We went once in July and I swore never again.

According to undercovertourist.com crowd calendar...
August 15th (Mon) will see crowds at 5(10 being worst), August 16-19th (Tues-Fri) the crowds at 4, Augst 20-21 (Sat/Sun) crowds at 6
August 21 (Sun) is at 6, August 22 (Mon) is at 5, August 23rd (Tues) is at 4, August 24-26th (Wed-Thu-Fri) are at 3, August 27 (Sat) is at 6

So, the best weeks to go are 2-3 FULL weeks of August
