If you were in charge what punishments would you give for 'crimes' within the parks

On a srius note last January the MK was open til 3AM on New Years Day. This was fantastic as the park was not th eleast bit crowded..however as my Girlfriend and Daughter(17) ws waiting outside the Philharmonic to see the show...a group of 4 Teenagers Im guessing 14-16 years old were being quite obnoxius..to the point one of them took several sets of the 3D glasses dropped them on the ground and stomped on them. I was biting my tounge the whole time until that incident...the only CM there "ignored" what was going on as he was'nt (I dont mean this in a bad way) apparently confident he could deal with the situation. I broke my on cardinal rule of not interfereing and confronted the obnoxius youths, I simply got in the kids face and told him that if he couldnt respect the people here and the kids that were present Id personally see him and his 3 friends escourted from the park..I additionally told him this would put his family at risk from being evicted from their resort. The kid mouthed off that I was in his personal space...at which point another "dad" stepped in and told him that more than his personal space could get violated if he didnt respect Disney and the kids present. They settled down and we didnt hear anything further. My girlfriend asked the Cm to go get security but ht ekid seemed confused at best...at any rate..not an everyday occurance...but people dont realize that you can in fact have your tickets invalidated and be evicted from Disney for misbehavior

Good that you spoke up. I wish more people would, especially to correct rude kids. They need it. The correction actually makes a difference to many kids, especially coming from an adult outside of their family. Neighbors used to do that. Now many don't, and we are dealing with the consequences.

Extreme Dress code common sense violations- sent back to your room with a Park Mom to dress you.

Brazilian Tour groups with rowdie children- British Nannies for the rest of the trip

People concerned with other people's lives/reasons for using GAC- A day in the life of a disabled person at the park, including pain shots, leg immobilizers to simulate difficulties walking, etc

Parents who suddenly lost the ability to drive their strollers- confiscation of stroller with free candy for their kids

Grown adults who stand in front of children for parades- knees knocked out :)

Cell talkers/flash photographers in rides- locked in IASW for 8hrs

People complaining about bus lines after leaving parks at peak closing time- back of the line, completely back of line, and sugar given to their kids

Parents who wait until their turn to board bus before attempting to collapse the stroller they suddenly forgot how to collapse- back of the line with sugar given to their children.

Drivers who can't figure out the very simple parking procedures at the parks- sent to a back, far away parking lot with no tram

If you ever run for Czar of Disneyworld, I want to be your campaign manager.

People who are not on a tour group (Keys to the Kingdom) Standing with the group to try and over hear what the tour guide is saying. Hey buddy I paid good money for this tour. If you want to go on it pay like the rest of us.
Punishment: Tour Guest gets to smash offender in the wrists with the tour guide's riding crop in til said offender cries for mercy. Mercy will only be granted at the discression of the Majority vote of the tour group.

Hired!:king:

AMEN

THANK YOU!!!

The worst is at DTD... Please do not smoke in front of World of Disney.
As a former smoker I know what a pain in the butt (pardon the pun) it is to find a place out of the way sometimes.

Seriously. My dad smokes. My husband smokes. They carry maps just so they can find the smoking areas. My husband can be an @** sometimes. If he can take the time to find a proper smoking area, no one else has an excuse. It really irks me when they do it at ride exits or other frequented areas where the entire population has no choice but to walk.

Most people don't realize those are tours. They see someone talking and a group of tourists gathered...and they stop to see see and hear, too.

Also, the fact that they heard something doesn't take anything away from you.

I get very irritated when the rude tour guides make jokes at these people's expense and the very poorly mannered tourists laugh at them. I saw a woman who was public ally humiliated just for stopping...no fault of her own.

I'm sure YOU were raised better than to participate in publically humiliating innocent strangers. I don't mean you.

It's just a serious bone I have to pick with Disney and the meanies they encourage.

Brazilian Tour Groups will not be allowed past the entrance of any park until muzzled and clap muffling gloves are being worn.

Thats the only problem with the the 3am park openings..much more scaled down crew running things, the one CM was an "introvert" he wasnt going to intervene no matter how obnoxious the teenagers got. I really didnt want to get involved as my daughter and girlfriend were with me...but once they started stamping on 3D glasses....I felt obligated

People who cut 6 inches in front of a moving stroller because they think they are more important than the people using the stroller and cause the stroller driver to either abruptly stop or swerve will have their ankles immediately broken in front of everyone.

People who are moving along nicely and just abruptly stop and stay right in the middle of the flow of foot traffic will be pushed down to the ground and trampled.

People who "claim" to not know English when they are confronted about breaking a rule will be immediately deported to their home country and banned from coming back to WDW until they complete a "Rosetta Stone" course on English. If they are on their last day, then they are banned from WDW for 3 years and required to take a "Rosetta Stone" course on English before being allowed back in the parks.

Line Jumping results in 5 lashes with a Singapore cane to the bare back of the Cutter by each person they cut in front of. If the Line Jumper is under 10 years old, their parents will be lashed. If the Cuttee is under 10, the parent will be allowed to give the lashes instead of the child.

I agree with a part about a CM being rude; however, It did take away from my tour as the person kept asking questions of the guide and following the group. Asking questions of the guests as well. Then became irate about the fact that the guide politley advised them that if they wished to go on the tour to visit Guest Services. I have no problem if someone has a question about where they are or how to get somewhere and they stop the guide but I also feel that if you are an adult at Disney and see a group of about 10 people being lead by a CM that is dressed in a different costume that the regulars for that land must be part of a group. Remeber these tours are not free and are on a time limit.

My biggest pet peeve (other then smokers that can't follow rules) is the jokers that can't go all the way to the end in theaters and sit down in the middle and make you walk over them. (I make it a point to stomp toes as I go by if I can). I can't really think of a novel punishment good enough for these selfish idiots. Maybe having to stand through 10 straight showings of the circlevision movie in Canada?

I have seen many people do this very thing, but I have also seen others stop at the end of the aisle and allow people to go through until it appears that they will be seated in the middle, then they go on in. That would be far preferable than me having to stomp on toes the way I do now.

Ok you've been put in charge of Disney World and your first order of the new regime is to implement a new strict code of conduct for visitors. Being tough on perceived 'crimes' within the parks is essential, so bearing this in mind what punishments would you orchestrate to flush out the annoying guest elements?

President Mergatroid would instigate the following :drevil:

# Talking whilst shows are on would result in immediate eviction from the park.

# Hovering over guests in food courts still eating their meals would result in being doused in ice cold beverly by specially designated cast members and removal of unused fast passes.

# Use of flash photography where instructed not to do so would result in said camera being confiscated and passed to Officer Jimmy Thick to break (he's experienced in these matters)

# Not using deodorant would result in being dragged to a water area where you'd be hosed down before being made to wear a t shirt proclaiming "Mickey doesn't like smelly people"

I think we'd all agree that these subtle measures would help to make 'the happiest place on earth' a much more pleasurable experience for law abiding citizens, but feel free to add more 'rules & penalties' to improve the parks :animwink:

Anyone who makes an obscene gesture during the ride pictures for SM, EE or TT will be immediately escorted to the nearest restroom and given a swirlie.

Some clown sitting in front of me and my 8 year old daughter flipped the bird for the picture on Everest last fall. Didn't realize or even see it until after I had purchased the picture and returned home.

When I encounter the middle sitters in shows, I loudly tell them the direction was to keep walking to the end and the view is the same from everywhere. If they argue, then I remind them that they RUSHED infront of everyone. Maybe they should think about that next time. Usually by that point, the CMs reannounce the instruction with irritation. If they still don't move, I step and, if DH is in a bad mood, he'll crop dust. LMAO

There ya go, any one who sits in the middle and won't move will be crop dusted by every person that had to walk past them.
