Maybe people get mad, but the job of a CEO is to maximize shareholder value, which Iger has done a tremendous job of. He is a tremendous CEO in that regard. Is he the most creative? No way, but as a businessman, he is one of the best. Quite frankly the people on this board and most internet boards represent a minuscule percentage of a "fan base" or whatever we call it, so their opinions really don't matter. Performance at the parks, in movie theaters, tv, etc...those results matter and he does a good job maximizing those businesses.
Yeah but the problem with Iger is that he's all business. If you could take his talents in business and FrankenCEO them with Eisner's talent for design, production and imagination....good lord, you would have a Second Disney Renaissance that would totally blow away the early 90s.
