So the thread on disney selling the parks got me thinking, if you had the opportunity to purchase the parks, what would you do? What would you change / upgrade? Let's assume we are all filthy rich. I would expand the monorail line to run to all the parks and buy new trains.

Well if you had an infinite amount of money.. I guess that would be cool to have monorail running the length of the property. As far as real world money goes the most I would do is start fixing things..Monorail, yeti, ect

Have to agree with the monorail plan. Expand them and possibly get rid of the busses. I'd probably open up the 'Hollywood Tower' themed hotel that was discussed in another thread, that would rock! I'd also get Hyperion Wharf done and over with....complete with an all new Adventurer's Club! Oh, on behalf of what my 7 year old son told me the other night, 'Dad, Hollywood Studios just needs to expand the whole Star Wars area.' I would expand the whole Star Wars area at HS! While I'm at it, I'd add a TRON roller coaster to either Tomorrowland in MK or to Hollywood Studios.

I would quicky move in to the Cinderella Suite and hire a 24-hr staff to pamper me and my family!! AND I would kick mean people out of every park--banned for life, I tell you! AND I'd make famous people wait in line like the rest of us working slugs! AND I'd have a contest every month, with a winner from every state, and treat that family to a week long WDW vacation 'on the Mouse'!! AND I would declare the Dole Whip to be a part of the new food pyramid, which requires consumption at least once per day!!

-Bulldoze DAK and replace it with a DisneySea clone from Tokyo.

-Major updates & additions to DHS which are about 20+ yrs overdue.

-Wonders of Life building gone. Horizons back in. (I apologize to all W.O.L. fans. You're welcome to all Horizons fans).

-Schedule special Brazillian Tour Group nights at the parks. An after-hours all-night event where Tour Groups could have the parks to themselves...getting it all outta their system then.

-Re-open Adventurer's Club, P.I., etc.

-New updated version of Journey Into Imagination with a return of Dreamfinder.

-New Spaceship Earth ending that is more of an epic finale rather than the video game ending of today.

-Remove giant hat from DHS. Sell it on Ebay (probably to John Stamos) for a large sum of $$$. Use said $$$ for yet even more needed updates to the park.

-Pay raise for all CM's.

-Hire back all laid-off CM's from 2009.

-Extend Monorail route to include all 4 parks.

-Find out the hard way that most of my ideas are financially impossible...especially in this economic era.

-End up re-selling the property to foreign entity. (or John Stamos)

-Retire happily along the coast.

I'd leave everything the way it is with the exception of 3 things.

1) Tear down Country Bear Jamboree
2) Put something in The Wonders of Life pavillian.
3) Bulldoze The Adventurers Club and give pieces of it to the fans, all 14 of them.

I've thought about this a lot before, and here are a few of the things I would do:
-Fix the Yeti (I'm sure we can all agree on that one!)
-Redo the Spaceship Earth finale, putting Walt Disney (in animatronic form) at the end of the ride, with him welcoming you to EPCOT Center (made up from clips of the EPCOT tv special)
-Re-imagine DAK, putting FOTLK in Africa and turning Camp Minnie Mickey into a Beastley Kingdomme type land with a ride themed to Night on Bald Mountain (featuring a fire-breathing dragon as the antagonist)
-Redo Test Track, the vehicles would be more futuristic in design, and I would turn the queue into the "World of Motion" placing smaller sets similar to the original ride throughout the current path (this would be a walk-through exhibit leading to the ride)
-Bring Dreamfinder and ImageWorks back to Imagination
-Update UOE, WOL and bring back a live narrator to Living with the Land
-Add a new E-ticket or something huge in DHS over by Star Tours and the Streets of America

* upgrade all monerails
* extend it to al four parks
* get rid of buses
* pay raise to CM's
* hire more matienence people
* ban brazilian tour groups ( arrive's on property and gets teleported to disneyland while still getting the money from tickets/ reservations:fork:
* move DWWOS off property
refurbish all hotels and rooms
* buy universal shut it down and take it's propertys (aka harry potter, marvel, E.T, nickelodean, BTTF ete)
* destroy sea world
* ban park commandos/ dumb people and send them to disneyland while still taking ticket/ reservation money
* add more road sighs
* take out the TTC
* make monerails go to every resort

MAGIC KINGDOM​

* make main street theathe were you can watch classic disney cartoons
* make a mickey M&G on main street
* move COP to main street
* add indiana jones and lost expidition (www.neverlandfiles.com)
* add more advanced AA'S to the JC
* make swiss family tree house have interactive elements
* refurbish AA'S and effects on POTC
* refurbish guns on tom sawyer island and add a new cave
* make a draw bridge to TSI
* refurbish AA's on splash mountain
* add geyser mountain
* make big thunder more like everest thrill wise
* add the hatbox ghost to HM
* add more advanced AA'S to WTP and PPF
* remove indy speedway
* make one big space mountain instead of two
* get rid of stitch and bring back AE
* add 20k but make better efects where autopia was
* refurbish buzz lightyear and make it in 3D and add a new scene to make it longer
* add BTTF ride into monsters inc area
* lower food/ drink prices
* lower ticket prices by $15 dollors

EPCOT​

* remove the graveyard out front
* update AA'S in SSE
* do the rumored TT refurb
* make MS part of a space pavilion that also has a dark ride about space flight
* bring back W.O.L but update all shows/rides
make sorin over the world happen
* bring back the original JII
* get rid of EO and put in a show about a childs imagination (idk)
* add a bullet trai simulator in japan
* add Rhine river rapids for germany
* Rainforest coaster for the land
* add a swiss pavilion
* MATTERHORN

HOLYWOOD STUDIOS​

* add al capone car chase on SOA ( like d**k tracys crime stopper)
* add roger rabbit ride
* refurbish AA'S on GMR
* add carsland ( to relive pressure off TSM
* take out indy show
* add a star wars coaster to form a star wars land
* put in monsters inc laugh floor
* add ghostbusters ride where LMA is
* take out backlot tour and add harry potter and forbidden journey
* add spidy

ANIMAL KINGDOM​

* take out chester heaster and put in excavator
* refurb dinosour and add more thrill
* make kali river rapids have a bigger drop
* repair yeti
* take out camp minie mickey and relocate lion king show to africa
* BEASTLY KINGDOM

after that i would close down the parks to everyone exempt everyone on the board

everything else in the resort is good
