If You Had to Pick a Date for the Opening . . .

It's not...I look at those maps everyday and had one open giving directions this morning. It's just "trees" right now and says coming soon. They won't be distributing those maps until the parks open. You've seen a very good photoshopped map. =/

How far in advance would WDW gets their graphics designers to make the maps? While it's obvious this isn't the map out available to the general public, I could see this sitting on some desk somewhere. I mean, Belle and Ariel's stuff is opening sometime in the near future so they will have to make the map in advance of then.

I guess the question is whether the mine train would be listed later this year. Given it's location in the middle of everything else, I could see it being on there with the "coming soon" tag; otherwise, they'd have to do a bunch of greenery there which might stick out in stark contrast to people in the park seeing walls and a big steel construction.

I am so looking foward to something new at MK! I will be there in October and like everyone else am hoping for an early soft opening. However, I think I will miss it and the thanksgiving crowds will be the lucky ones.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to go next year too! :)

From what I've been told by managers in the MK area, little mermaid the ride is ready and runs everyday but there is no safe way yet to get to it and that theming is not done. The beauty and the beast part is almost done but the castle walls are not. My guess would be that it'll soft open the middle of October with full opening beginning of November.
