If you could sit on a bench-

The rocking chairs on the porch at Liberty Tree.

A table on the outdoor seating area at Artist Point.

Sitting at the end of the marina dock at Poly, late at night, with a fine cigar and a snifter of Sambucca.

Any bench on Hollywood Blvd at Studio. The character actors are great.

I'd say sitting on any bench or chair @ the Poly that overlooks the lagoon...in the evening. That or one @ the CBR near OPR. Oh and the BW...ah there are just too many beautiful places to take in...

The Fountain of Nations area, no contest. I love the background music loop.

That´s my favorite spot! I love the music, and people watching there is a lot of fun! :)

Showcase Plaza! It's surprisingly relaxing and you get to see a lot of people strolling by.... Is there any atmosphere playing at this point???

Liberty Square Sketch

I sat in one of the rocking chairs in Liberty Square last year for about an hour and sketched this.

As you are headed from one land to the next, what is that small area of overlap in area music reffered to as?

For anyone who might have been interested...it's known as a "Sensory Tickle"

I just want to say that some people here do not realize how lucky you are. I would love to goto WDW multi times a year. Even just once a year. So for those of you that have the luck of living close or the availability of making trips close together then please realize how lucky you are. I'm happy when I can see the castle for 5 minutes. Those of you that can sit on a bench for a hour and just soak it in wow - maybe one day for me:cry:

The spot I always think of is in Liberty Square by the Liberty Tree. It's been a while, but I seem to remember from this one vantage point being able to get a least a glimpse of The Liberty Tree Tavern, Diamond Horseshoe, Hall Of Presidents, Haunted Mansion, Turkey Leg stand, Shootin Arcade, Country Bear Jamboree, Splash Mountain, and more. It's hard to think of a place where I could feel more immersed in Disney! :)

Wow, thank you all very much for the compliments! I posted another drawing from the inside of the American Adventure [where waiting an hour for the next show is mandatory anyway :)].

Here's the link to that one:

I'm going to back to WDW in October and plan on doing some more drawings while I'm there. I also draw from the photos I take, both of WDW and Disneyland, so maybe I'll post some more of those in my Photo Album soon. Keep looking there if you're interested.

Excellent choice! Please hold a spot on the bench for me since the British Invasion show immediately follows the Off Kilter show, I'll hurry right over. I might stop at the outdoor bar at the Rose & Crown, you want anything?
(Sigh, if only...)
