If you could go back to one decade

My first visit ever was in '79, and I went back a few times in the 80's. So that's my pick - the 80's were an excellent time to visit, for many of the reasons listed above.

Definitely the 90s. Some of my favorite Disney memories are during that time.

No doubt the 70s and 80s would be great in their own ways. 70s because of how new and original it all would've been. 80s because of EPCOT. I, however, went with the 90's (probably the early 90s). Not only for the nostalgic reason of that is when I first went when I was 8 years old but because all 3 parks were operating at such a high level. MK still had all almost all of its original or, at least classic attractions. EPCOT had entered its prime and again still retained pretty much all of its major classics from opening day and MGM was a full fledged park even if Sunset Boulevard, TT, and RnRC didn't exist yet. Plus, Disney was in the middle of the animation renaissance at that point which only added even greater power to the magic.

80's for me...Epcot is my fave park, so I would have loved to be there for the grand opening!

Anybody remember the show WDW Inside Out that was on the air back in '94 - '95? I have all 12 episodes on dvd, and pull 'em out from time to time. There was a lot of stuff going on back then!

My first visit was in the 80's and it was great. EPCOT just blew me away.

But I think it would have been really cool to visit in 1976 when everything was still fresh and new at Magic Kingdom. Visit the resorts with the original decor - Polynesian, Contemporary and Fort Wilderness. River Country had just opened. The Spirit of '76 was in full swing and "America on Parade" replaced the Main Street Electrical Parade. I've got a book about it, very cool.
